For anyone curious about music:
- Pirate Ship's music library is entirely from existing stages (mostly from the base game, but also several of the ones from Hyrule Castle 64). Pretty much the entire selection it had in Brawl seems to be there. Can't say for certain, since I don't actually have all the unlockable music yet.
- The Super Mario Maker stage also has mostly existing tracks from Mario stages that were already in the game (and Peach's Castle 64), but it also adds in the basic ground themes from SMB 1 and SMW, as well as a remix of the Mario Maker title. I think that's the only new remix in this round of DLC.

a.k.a. Cly, that one girl who doesn't post here much anymore Something something YI = SMW 2 = SMB 5.Hurray for predicting something...that's kinda likely, but it's a sort of correct guess!
Marth and Lucina's shieldbreaker was nerfed...(shield damage going from 30 to 25).
Why Sakurai...

I'm glad Pirate Ship is back. It looked a bit out of place along with Toon Link himself when portrayed in Brawl's realistic art style, so even if not much about the stage itself has changed besides the resolution, it certainly does feel more at home with the more colorful, expressive direction of Smash 4.

Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.I think Sakurai saw my curb-stomping the other FE characters as a sign that Lucina needs to be nerfed,
.
Nah, I think he's just nerfing low-tiers for no goddamn reason, even though they need to be buffed.
Also, can this be the last Zelda stage we get? I would rather have Sector Z over Pirate Ship. I do like Pirate Ship but Zelda has enough stages in this game to begin with!
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!This is not one of Luigi's nerfs but it's amusing nonetheless
◊
Anyway I think in general moves that did very high shield damage were nerfed, not just Shield Breaker but also DK's Headbutt and all get-up attacks. Charged Shield Breaker is still intact by the way.
Other moves like Pound that also do good shield damage are still the same though, so I think only the really strong ones were nerfed.
I love the new stages.
I love the new stages.
I love the new stages.
Mario Maker has everything I love about a good stage; incredibly varied while still being semineutral enough for competitive friendlies. Having a ton of music helps it even more.
Pirate Ship was my favorite stage in Brawl. It was one of the first custom stages I remade because I missed it that much.
Duck Hunt 3DS is welcome because, not only is it free, making it 100% clear that it wasn't being intentionally held back to grab money from later, but the 3DS is seriously lacking in the neutral stages department.note
And the revelation that stage music can be reused means that, among others, things like Yoshi's Island/Story 64, Big Blue, and Fountain of Dreams are still in the potential running.
So I'm happy.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerFingers crossed there's at least indirect buffs for Dedede - better match-ups and such. But, you know, doubt it.
By the sounds of it, very little seems changed besides some tweaking of shield breaking attacks.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorShieldstun was apparently increased, so many characters might have moves that are safer on shield now.
This is probably why Shield Breaker was nerfed, since now we're forced to stay in shield for longer when it's hit, an uncharged Shield Breaker could potentially be strong enough to break a shield instantly because of the little time the shield has to degenerate while we're stuck in it.
So I now have all the new DLC on 3DS. It didn't cost nearly as much as I thought it would. I have to say, I find Mario Maker just a tad underwhelming. My personal favorite of this bunch are the Mii costumes. More specifically, the Swordfighter costumes. All of them are pretty cool, especially the Viridi and Ratharos outfits. Still don't even have Pirate Ship on Wii U since my Gamepad is broken.
Fan-compiled patch notes
. Like Moon said, the increased shieldstun explains the nerfs to shield-breaking moves — otherwise, a hit shield could be shattered before the shielder could drop it or escape.
So shieldstun's been increased, huh? In other words, the #1 competitive complaint about the game's been addressed?
Looks like the Melee fans gotta find something else to nitpick at now
