I try to stay out of debates so I am shit at arguing.

I like to hang with my friends and play games instead.

I can't tell if this guy who beat me and switched to Marth actually uses him or is trying to troll me.

I've always wanted to play Smash for the Wii U.

I only have a New 3DS XL and a Wii as far as Nintendo goes.

I played a bit of the Wii U version at my local fair and it looked clean as hell.

After doing some thinking and reading some people's ideas, I actually want the Plasm Wraith to be in SSB.

I feel like it has some good potential.

Where can I go to get advice on my playing? I'm getting a little tired of being terrible.

[up][up][up] Try the Smashboards character thread for your character. You're sure to find something or another.

So is there a "general advice" thread on smashboards or something?

For the record, I main Marth.

Spacing. Marth thrives on keeping exactly the right distance. Go to Training mode and try to nail it down.

Also remember he is getting small buffs almost every patch.

Here's the section for Mar-Mar. As for what you need, well, you'll ultimately have to find it.

[up][up]I know the right spacing for tippers with almost all his attacks when fighting against a training dummy at least, it's just that I somehow always get out predicted, and they always dodge and I always get hit or grabbed. And this might be just me but when lag stops me from doing a proper input it always seems to be the shield button.

Plasm Wraith is interesting but it has more potential as a boss than a character.

Besides, how would you represent its obnoxious Majin Buu-style regeneration as a PC?

There's a ton of things I'd have loved to seen as full-fledged bosses in a more fleshed-out Adventure, to be honest. Metal Face is really the only boss-hazard that gets the feel right, though Ridley comes close.

I sure said that!

I'd make an Adventure Mode in a similar format to how Event Match works this time; a big grid of levels with little connecting paths between them, and secret paths by clearing specific conditions (Or just finding a secret exit, Mario World style).

No cutscenes or story, just some good gameplay. Some of the stages would end with boss fights, of course. It'd probably be easy to tweak Metal Face into a proper singleplayer boss by making him attack more frequently and give him some new attacks.

[up][up]Yeah, I'm not calling for a full story mode like SSE, just something more meaty in single/two-player coop terms.

Maybe something like a survival mode in a series of initially small randomly-generated mazes, with boss arenas serving as the lock between them and the next maze?

I sure said that!
