Though at least a bit of the hype around him is effectively "DK deserves more reps!" and "We need more villains!" rather than any particular merits of K. Rool himself.
But ultimately, most characters have both positive and negative points towards their inclusion. And it's going to be up to the devs as to which side outweighs the other.
I like how every character that isn't K. Rool never needs to have "merits" outside of "I and other people want this character." But for the kremling, he has to provide three different forms of identification and a valid mailing address to be considered, apparently.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorLittle Mac was hardly that relevant when he got in. Yes, we did have the Wii game and Captain Rainbow but they weren't that recent by the time Smash 4 was being made. And even then, Duck Hunt had zero relevancy when Smash 4 was in development. Aside from his own Scrappy reputation on the internet.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!I think, considering his status as a Jack of All Trades via his odd identity crises, he could work as a sort of heavyweight with muted flaws and benefits of the sorts that weight class usually has. So strong, but not as strong as Dedede or Bowser or Ganondorf, a little slow between the windup to his attacks and the damage frames but not as much as those three, etc.

I sure said that!Would K Rool have a tail or be Inexplicably Tailless like he is sometimes?

"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"![]()
He is a heavyweight boxer, for sure.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.K. Rool would obviously be a Mega Man clone.

... He's saying that he doesn't like K. Rool because he seems like he's too similar to Bowser, just so DK can have an antagonist.
