Wait, am I the only one charges straight at most assist trophies?
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardThat's a dangerous proposal- Even though most of them can be stunned now, they mostly have such high damage and launch output that the risk of mistiming the counter attack outweighs the reward of knocking them away, and it's compounded a bit by how readily some of the can just teleport or shoot at you from the other side of the stage.
I sure said that!I can usually defeat them rather quickly, since I play characters with generally high damage output.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I opened a Casual-Competitive Conflict poll over on the McLeodGaming forums to see how strongly people generally lean for curiosity's sakes, so I thought I may as well ask here.
On a sliding scale of;
How would you rate yourself?
KEY:
- 0 - NEUTRAL: No preference at all.
- 1 - FLEXIBLE: Plays at the given setting in general, but can and often does deviate when playing with others.
- 2 - DECIDED: Has formed a general opinion on both playstyles. Still very capable of deviation, but has an outwardly clear preference or focus, even if slight.
- 3 - ROOTED: Is deeply ingrained in the given setting and does not feel comfortable leaving it. It's fine if you're like this, that's just what you enjoy.
- 4 - EXCLUSIVE: Honestly believes that a given playstyle is inherently superior to another for any given reason; that there's a "right" and "wrong" way to play the game; this includes a belief that a focus in development towards one playstyle is damaging to the other (like, for example, if you believe that time spent programming items and hazards would be better spent on balancing, or time spent on adjusting technical details would be better spent on adding more content, for example). While a somewhat volatile path, still an acceptable one if general respect is given to other players.
(For the record, I consider myself Competitive 2.)

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI'm in kind of a weird spot. On one hand, I generally prefer playing For Fun over For Glory (though that's probably because the former isn't ranked) and don't really have a stage preference so long as I'm not spending as much time fighting the stage as I am the other player. On the other hand, I really despise playing with items on most of the time when I'm up against another human, and generally my focus in such scenarios is trying to get better.
So...I'd probably say Competitive 1.5 - 2.5.

Aside from the obvious whammies- Nintendog, (even if Frenchies are cute) Tingle and Starfy- All the Assists are a welcome sight.
I sure said that!
