In terms of Ness and Lucas, it's probably due to Itoi not looking to continue the series.

Yeah, I'm not sure where you can continue on from Mother 3's ending, anyway.

There's a fan made Mother 4 in the works

Look it up, apparently it's really good.

I'm completely ignorant of the metagame going-ons, so I'd like some input on something someone added on Shulk's entry on the character page.

Master of None: By default, Shulk doesn't have any notable strengths besides his good range and above average attack strength, and has the most sluggish attacks of any character in the game (even more than Ganondorf). Using his Monado Arts will cause him to become more specialized in the area of choice, with the bonus of being able to change his specialty if the situation calls for it.

That part I bolded has me stumped. Shulk more sluggish than Ganondorf? I really don't see it nor feel it.

Delete it. That sorta used to be the case, but his attack animations have since been sped up.

Yeah, I don't see it.

Sure. his monado laser second hit things come out pretty slow, but they're for comboing with regular monado strikes.

And he's not Ganondorf-tier slow either.

This is what the entry used to be, by the way.

That entry certainly suits him more.

Certainly suits Shulk more, being decent but not too good at anything. There are other characters I think more of when I read Master of None.

The character with the worst frame data in the is King Dedede IIRC. Shulk's frame data in terms of start-up is actually slightly faster than Greninja, not counting specials.

Thanks, that's all I needed.

Geez, I ignore the page a few days and someone starts making a mess.

By the way, is Palutena a Master of None?

* Master of None: By default, Palutena has a fairly undesirable mix of attributes: she's a tall, light character with very laggy, hard-to-use attacks that deal good but not extraordinary damage. She has to rely on whichever special moves are chosen for her to adapt to the situation, such as using special defensive maneuvers or enhancing her speed to become more mobile.

I would say so, though Zelda is a better representative of Master of None.

I think she could qualify. Her moves are either really good or really bad with very little inbetween and she's overall pretty meh with a linear gameplan based on just a couple of moves.

[up] Zelda is more of a Glass Cannon.

The thing is that she doesn't excel at anything. She's barely a glass cannon when the cannon takes forever to reload.

Her strong attacks aren't that slow when it comes to start-up and she actually excels at the cannon part because her moves are very strong.

Yeah. As far as Zelda is concerned, she is definitely a Glass Cannon. She is simply in an enviroment where her fighting style works against her for 1-on-1 battles (hence why she stays as a low tier).

that actually looks like a really fun and unique stage

I'm so getting it

[up]if you want to embed a youtube video, use the tag [[youtube: ]] and at the other side of the colon you put the video tag.

so if you were to, say, embed the video up there, you would input [[youtube: IOdhFajSdj8]]

but like without the space obviously

also i'm beginning to see why youtube embedding was broken like holy hell

But we can't Mario Make the stage ourselves, can we?

We can make Super Smash Bros stages or Super Mario Maker stages, but not Super Mario Smash Maker Bros stages. Hmph.
