Congrats on your tournament victory, Moon.
I don't really have much in the way of achievements in this game, the closest I had was my position as the best Greninja player in Anther's Ladder which is... a bit dubious since Greninja is a rather rare character. I'm still beating myself up for messing up so bad at fighting that Dedede player, heh.
Thanks though!
I figure the real problem with Mewtwo would be his floaty hugeness. Maybe if he could hover horizontally after you use his Up+B if you held it down...
It's not that you're not hitting a grounded opponent with an uair: It's that the animation fools the player into thinking it should hit when in reality it does not, so you get weird stuff like Mewtwo's tail passing through the opponent as if he were a ghost.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Is this
◊ somewhat accurate? Why are Samus, Zelda and Palutena so low? What about Robin and WFT? Didn't Bowser dominate at the start of the game? And I'm curious about Charizard's low placement, too. On the other hand, I'm happy for Sheik and ZSS.
It still bugs me that Ice Climbers won't work, but Rosalina and Luma will.

That one's old and I believe is before patch 1.1.0.
It's also not a SmashBoards creation, but it is an alright list.
Regardless, Mewtwo, Samus, and Zelda are definitely low tiers in this game.
Robin might climb up some spots now that his d-throw has been reworked and his Thunder special being buffed overall (less lag on Arcthunder f.ex. and Elthunder was buffed as well). As might Wii Fit Trainer since she also received some buffs.
(Generally, Wii Fit Trainer was that low because she has some of the problems Mewtwo had in terms of hitboxes that don't hit exactly where you expect them to hit and having surprisingly little range on her attacks)

To be honest, the tier lists can also be seen as a look into how the characters performed or are expected to perform before and after the patches which the tier list is relevant to.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Oh, I also went through the community patch notes and found out that there's a universal hit lag decrease on attacks with a hitlag modifier higher than 1.0.
Among other things, it means things like Marth's tippers, Roy's base, and Ryu's attacks are now safer on shield than before.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!A tier list measures, at least theoretically, top-level play for each character and how viable they are as a result. Fox is at the top in Melee but demands pretty intensive mastery of clack-clack-clack to get optimal results from, for example.
I sure said that!

Yeah, that's where I got the idea from. I'd probably implement it in a limited sense, if at all.
I'm actually happiest with my Pressure idea, since that was my most original one, brings up his in game ability, and works to counter his weaknesses somewhat, if indirectly. After that, the faster dash idea, then tether recovery, then launcher.
