I was kinda surprised that none of the new Lucario alts didn't include a Shiny Lucario myself. (I would have replaced the dark blue/yellow one with Shiny Lucario if it had been up to me.)
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"They've never had a shiny coloration, in fact. Mewtwo's green color covered too much with green, and Greninja's black color has an orange tongue and has less black.
but jigglypuff's normal coloration used to be shiny until they changed it in 4, fun fact.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeMy idea was always for each character to have their 8 default palettes, and then an extra set of 8 more as an unlockable alternate costume. Bowser would get a set of Dry Bowser costumes, Wario would have his overalls, ect. For the Pokemon, it'd be inverted in that their regular "palette swaps" would just be accessories, like with Pikachu and Jigglypuff, while their "alternate costumes" would be the same but with the Pokemon being its shiny palette.
Biggest issue is Yoshi, though. There's 10 Yoshi colors, but with only 8 costume slots two get left out. Orange and White Yoshi are conspicuously absent in this game.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!White Yoshi was a color I was hoping would be in the game. My theory why it isn't in the game is that he might be hard to see in certain stages (Such as Pictochat), but then again, there aren't a whole lot of stages with a white background...
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"Even if there were, G&W gets by perfectly fine.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI'd be on board with Mew Two in a sun hat. Or a Charizard with a sun hat.
Can I re-state the fact after today's events that I hate Fuckboy with the blazing rage of a thousand suns.
So, I've been looking for this video here for literally years and just now finally found it through a weird trail of internet breadcrumbs. Some of you may have seen it way back when, some of you might just balk at it being another one of those videos. Either way, enjoy this blast from the Brawl Hype past, a really funny Brawl "misheard lyrics" video.
(Seriously, this was one of only two of those videos I actually liked, and it's since been removed from You Tube for unknown reasons.)
I know the definitive reason the pokémon, Sonic, and Pac-Man have such abysmal alternate costumes.
Sakurai's openly complained about the stubbornness of Game Freak and Sega in the past, and I'm sure Namco's putting him through the same motions.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerQuick question:
Watching the meta evolve has been a ton of fun, even if the top bois are mostly the same.
How Luigi got to his current standing is the coolest case. He was just sorta there early on, but only later did he and Mario become top prizefighters (And Mario didn't change at all, pretty much). When did he become the go-to combo boi? Was he always that good and people just took notice now, or was it a patch that brought the little guy over the top?

Yeah, Raichu palette is sorely missing, even if TP Ci is a bit, erm, dumb to work with, even as part of Nintendo.
