The people at the Link boards have very little tolerance and are very quick to start insulting anyone who they see as annoying. They're pretty good at scaring newcomers from there.
"I'd rather have a toxic and productive board rather than a fluffly sanctuary dedicated to raising fragile children, who are easily hurt by what others say on the internet"
That's an actual quote from someone from there.

Back a page, what I meant about DK and Bowser being slow, I just meant that the cooldown time on their attacks feel a bit extreme compared to most characters.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardWhat? I think Lucina boards could give the Link boards a run for their mo-
... Nevermind. The Link boards are the worst! The WORST! It's in a class on it's own in terms of horrible, horrible shit! Goddamn is that utterly detestable!
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!I sometimes check out the other boards just out of curiosity and there are some definite trends in some of their communities.
- Greninja: Used to have a lot of complaining over nerfs but kinda died down since the buffs.
- Meta Knight: All of the snark
- Zelda: Talk about everything except Zelda unless you want to talk about how trash she is.
- Robin: Talk about everything and especially shipping
- Rosalina: Some of the people there like Rosalina a little too much. Also the mod there really doesn't get jokes which is really funny.
- Mewtwo: "Man our character really sucks"
Though a lot of boards are pretty dead right now because they moved the discussion over to Skype, such as the Greninja boards. The most active ones from what I know are the Zelda and Robin boards.
Generally how good of a time you'll have on the competitive community probably depends on knowing where to hang out and maybe which character you play
Nah, it will never be deconfirmed because Smash isn't canon to FE and Robin and Lucina in Fates are clearly the Smash versions.
Also, if I ever met that person who said that shit that Moon just posted on here I'd likely injure them so badly they'd come this close to death.

AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!Technically, it would still deconfirm Smash Bros.!Robin being Smash Bros.!Lucina's mother regardless. Smash Bros. may not be canon to FE proper, but Smash Bros. DOES have it's own separate continuity that later games kinda-sorta adhere to, such as the ROB in Smash 4 explicitly being the same one that disguised himself as the Ancient Minister in Brawl. While Smash Bros. has the tried and true explanation of "This crossover is not canon to any of the source games until confirmed otherwise, it's still canon to subsequent crossovers", that would still mean Smash itself has a "canon" <in the loosest sense of the word, mind you> version of Robin.
Just think of it like how in Spider-Verse, the Marvel vs. Capcom 1 version of Spider-Man makes an appearance despite his being noncanon <Although this might be a bad example, considering MVC is now considered yet another alternate universe as opposed to completely separate from other Marvel continuities...

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!![]()
I've had to deal with some pretty big jerks during my freshmen, sophomore, and junior years of high school (currently in my senior year), so I have issues with people being complete jerks to innocent people.
Mind you, I exclusively use Female!Robin so Smash!Robin is Lucina's mother for me. And since I refuse to get Robin's amiibo it's going to stay that way for me. I'll only get it if I really want to get all Smash!amiibo.

AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!And if you're able to play Smash 4 online, Anther's Ladder
is another good place for advice, especially since the people you match with can assess your play style and give you advice based on what they see from you.

The worst of any community usually gets the most attention because people are more interested in the negatives than the positives.
