When I first encountered Crazy Hand, he scared me. Because it was the first boss fight in Smash that I lost and because his movements looked really unnatural to me. That was also my first experience with Hidden/Bonus Bosses.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardIt seemed really easy...I don't know.
The requirement is time based, I believe, but I just brute forced my way through because I can't play melee legit.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. You gotta beat Adventure Mode in less than 18 minutes on normal difficulty or higher without using a continue. It is by no means easy. Either you rush through it to beat the time limit (causing you to die and use a continue) or you play it carefully enough to not need a continue (which takes longer than 18 minutes). I have never managed it, either.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I can do it with everyone except Zelda. It's actually my favorite thing to do in Melee. Giga Bowser is really easy to beat with Pichu since Giga Bowser can't hit him with most of his attacks
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI tried going online last night. It was actually a little bit better than usual. Not that it kept me from losing almost every match I played...and this was only on For Fun!
Seriously, I think I've lost my touch. On one match there was this really good Roy player who kept only going after me for some reason, and later I played a team battle against a Shulk player and a Greninja player...and I swear the two must have been friends playing together or something, because they cooperated too well to not have been. (Greninja would toss me to the other side of the stage where Shulk was, and then Shulk would Up-B me off the side of the screen, among other things.)

"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"The first time I ever fought Giga Bowser in Melee was on complete accident. I was using Marth (for one of the first times) to unlock Roy. But when Bowser came back I was like DUDE WHAT.
I won the fight. I'm apparently good as Marth.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeSheik just slaps Greninja across the map until he eventually dies while Greninja can't approach Sheik safely at all.
The good thing is that Sheik takes forever to kill someone and does little damage so once Greninja does manage to start something he can turn the tables pretty quickly.
You just gotta really hope you can outplay your opponent in order to win this match-up, otherwise you just get slapped around and die.

So, what's a good match-up for Bowser? Is there some kind of chart or something somebody could link me to?
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardThe closest thing is this
which is made from Smashboards data and is still incomplete.
Bowser beats Zelda apparently.
Hmm... I usually have trouble fighting Zelda. Then again, every Zelda I've ever fought would constantly roll away and I just can't seem to punish it.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardWell, my comfort zone is more in line with fighters like Bowser or Donkey Kong, slow and powerful. I'm terrible with characters like Meta Knight. Greninja and Falco seem to be exceptions to this somehow, they control so comfortably for me. Also Little Mac.

They're both Lightning Bruisers in that they're fast, tough, and powerful, but their weaknesses come in the forms of low range, large size, and susceptibility to combos.

Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Honestly the community is not as bad as I thought it was. At least as long as you stay inside the community of your game of choice and don't start comparing it to the others.
It's kinda funny that in Smashboards each character board seems to have it's own culture of sorts, with the Link boards being the worst of the bunch by a wide margin.

And so my first FG match in three months ends with me getting unceremoniously two-stocked. Sigh.
Edit: Holy jeezus I keep getting utterly rekt. Really, how do I get any better at this?
