I honestly never noticed if I was pushing away opinions of others. So I do apologize if I was.
Though usually when I think of characters I'd like to see in Smash, Rule of Cool always takes over for me. That's kinda why I'm not angry at Dark Pit's inclusion in the series. It's been this way for me when Brawl was new. Trust me, I'm better with it now because I was making ridiculous suggestions when Brawl was out for a year.
Although in regards to Ashley being minor, she'd only really be minor to the main Mario universe. Less so to Wario's universe. Yes, minor in general but not to Wario's games. (I don't think she'd really overrepresent Mario because she never appeared in any other Mario spin-off)
No offense meant to others here. I'm just in fanboy mode.
What other SEGA characters would you guys like to see in Smash Bros? Besides Shadow, I'd think having Knuckles, Akira, Ni GH Ts, Bayonetta, or Alex Kidd would be cool.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!Or we could do something off-the-wall and get Atlus, since Sega-Sammy Holdings now has them under their wings too. Jack Frost or SMT Hero would be nifty, if massively out of left field.

I sure said that!I still think, if forced to have a second Sonic character, Knuckles would make a good choice, although Tails has more of a chance. Ni GHTS is fine if we are talking about Sonic Team characters, but more fit for an assist trophy, and, to be honest, I'm not sure about what other Sega characters would make good choices.
Knuckles' final smash is summoning Knuckles & Knuckles with Knuckles to punch with Knuckles.

Nah, he becomes Boom!Knuckles. With infinite jumping.
Obviously...Knuckle's Final Smash is Picking up a rock and throwing it. It's the only thing that makes sense.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. My brother had many lols at me as I tried to go offstage but then screwed up and Dolphin Slashed right into the underside of the stage.
But that doesn't change the fact he always seems to be faster on the A button than me. And that I just can't punish his rolls.

As well as Splashley. I happened to have gotten this requested earlier this month. Well, the top part anyway, Shen just really likes Splatoon right now.
If we got another Sega character, I want it to be Tails.
The Sonic series has had a more direct impact on Nintendo's history than half of the repped franchises, so I strongly think it deserves a second rep.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerIt's still a third party franchise, and they're all literally guests. I don't think any third party franchise should ever have a second playable character unless Nintendo co-owns the series in some way(which means they aren't entirely 3rd party). I feel that it's unreasonable to treat any third party franchise more special than another. They're all in the same exact boat; guests and nothing more.

Shadow?I don't see why a third-party franchise can't have more than one character. After all, there are plenty of first-party franchises that are given preferential treatment in the representation department. Besides, being in two games in a row pretty much means you can't be called a "guest". So, I'm fine with giving the Sonic series a second rep.

De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.

She was a playable character in Super Mario Land 3D, and is basically the face of Galaxy. Yeah, if somebody became a major character in Mario in the last decade, it was her. And Bowser Jr. became The Dragon in that franchise, and having the Koopalings as alts was a genius move.
Yeah, other than Mario in a labcoat being a separate character, they did a wonderful job with the Mario series.
And yeah, I get you like Ashley, but that is not a compelling argument for her inclusion in Smash Bros. And certainly, that move that involved disregarding the opinion of others, and immediatly starting to push your views without a care for objectivity, well, yeah, bit self-centered dontcha think?
