Wouldn't Quick Draw beat out Hammer altogether?

Not if you stay out of its range. Most Ikes using Quick Draw are looking to get back on stage, and landing an attack is a bonus. Since they've put themselves on a time limit to unleash the attack, you can usually figure out where they're gonna land, and just waddle over into that location. Even if you're not right there when he attacks, there's enough endlag for you to walk where he is and let loose. Jet Hammer comes out extremely fast, all things considered.
Waiting for them to counter, too, can get you an extra second of charge, since any Ike would loooove to get a fat turnaround like that.
Edit: Funny enough, I just ordered the retro pack myself. Though I really only want ROB. Oh well.

I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorThey actually do learn, a professional tournament let an amiibo play, and it started using top-level strategies not found in the AI.
Plus, you can train amiibo to literally only spam one move. I've done it and there are plenty of videos proving it.
They probably just have a base AI to work from so the younger children don't have really crappy partners when they train their amiibo.

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeThey're still not as flexible as a real live human player, but there's indeed variants in FP behavior that can be best explained as them copying human players.
I sure said that!Hmm.
My Shulk amiibo doesn't fight anything like how I taught it. It uses Jump and Shield very often whereas I focus more on Buster and Smash, it rarely uses Air Slash to attack, only to recover, and it doesn't do the side-taunt after every kill.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! There has been much theorising on amiibo.
Some people firmly believe that between the Lv 20 to 30 range any habits they pick up will be sticking around more stubbornly. There isn't any proof other than people claiming it to be the case.
Some say bad habits can be eradicated by punishing said habits harshly, preferably leading to a KO. Others say the only hope is to reset the damn thing.
Though it would make most sense that Smash just has a specific AI code for amiibo that increases profiency as it levels up, but is capable of mimicking player input. They do favor winning tactics though, so if the player is using a new combo to win, they might pick up on that.
Then the combined result of the behaviours are saved on the amiibos data chip.
Amiibos learn the how, but not the why. Try to teach them how to pressure, and then they just spam because they don't know what the pressure's for and think what they're doing is just as good.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — Ultimatepheeramiibo "thought" pattern:
- Phase one: Does that thing player does result in victory?
- Yes: DO IT!
- No: Meh. Probably won't copy that. Probably.
- Phase two: Is what I'm doing resulting in a loss?
- Yes: OMG WAT DO?! Refer to phase one.
- No: Keep it up!
Atleast, that's how it's coming off and explains how some habits stick stubbornly. Like mine jumping around constantly. Still no idea what the hell gave them that idea.
What is the coming Splatfest but foreshadowing of the glorious reveal of Optimus Prime joining the Smash?
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."The point of the poll is to give them potential ideas for new characters, not a pure popularity contest. The most popular character might not even get in if Sakurai can't figure out how to make him/her work.
I personally feel like voting for characters without video game origins, Ridleynote , or Snakenote is a waste of time. Vote for characters that actually have a chance in getting in.

I think it would be safe to dair off ledges if you had two or more stock left and your opponent only had one.
This is key if you want to Bowsercide/Kirbycide.
Thing is, my friends and I can't really time aerials unless they take you straight down (ie: Link, Sonic, Greninja, Sheik), or for me, Wario and Meta Knight's uairs.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!
