Whats so bad about making it a dash attack?
Could it work as a tilt? Probably not.
BTW, what do you guys think about the DLC stages? I'm slightly considering one of them, but uncertain.
- Dream Land is just Battlefield with retro grpahics. Lame.
- Peach's Castle 64 just looks ugly and way too tiny and not fun.
- Hyrule Castle 64 actually looks like it has a unique lay out and has room to fight on!
Something I noticed; all of the returning 64 stages were competitively legal in the 64 scene at one point.
Dream Land is currently the only stage allowed.
Peach's Castle, Hyrule Castle, and Kongo Jungle were all Counterpicks until fairly recently.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerYou know what'd be neat in a free update?
More varied effects on custom parts.
Give me "Start battle in Metal form". And Giant. And tiny. Fuck, give me all of it. amiibo would be even more interesting with that.
I also wish Tiny Melee would be a thing in special rules.. That was always hilarious.

Oh man, I was hoping so hard for a "metal" and "giant" equipment after equipment in general was announced.
Even if only to have Metal Mario and Giant Donkey Kong as opponents. It's always been kind of a tradition with me to recreate 64's Classic Mode with Vs. matches, and with those, it could be complete.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerThough the equipment versions would prbably not be permanent. But should certainly be lenghtier than an actual item.
Would 60 seconds be considered too long? Or should we cut it to 30?
30 seconds of gaint metal form time at the start of a battle.
... Would a tiny form item count as a detremential effect?

Add This amazing thing
to Kalos Pokemon League.
And Unova Pokemon League/Castle N, for that matter.
I have a message from another time...- Dreamland 64: Actually my favorite Kirby stage in the game right now.
- Suzaku Castle: A decent stage, but it's my second least favorite stage of the DLC stages.
- Miiverse: Love the gimmick, hate some of the comments. It really depends on the comment for me.
- Peach's Castle 64: This was actually my least favorite stage in 64, and it's one of my least favorites here.
- Hyrule Castle 64: My favorite Zelda stage is back and it's my favorite DLC stage.
I don't think we'll see Sector Z since it's similar to Corneria, or Yoshi's Story since its N64 track is already on the Yoshi's Island stage.
That leaves Saffron City, Zebes, and Super Mario Bros. Of those I can only see Zebes happening.

x2 Pokemon music is really fucking fantastic overall, especially the battle themes. My favorite is the Hoenn Elite Four theme
(which would have made an awesome Smash track).
Also in hindsight, Zinnia's theme does sound like something that would come out of a Kingdom Hearts game.
Which odd, since Zinnia herself looks like she just got off the set of Cutey Honey or Kill La Kill.
I sure said that!

But then he can't fart on people. That is unacceptable.
I think the Shoulder Charge is fine as his Forward Smash. Why they changed it to a punch is beyond my reckoning (Though at least it's more useful).
