Pachinko machines are nothing new. I think all the major Japanese publishers except Nintendo and maybe Capcom have them. Castlevania is on its fourth one.
Konami, to be charitable, is not interested in the traditional games industry. The costs are huge, the return on investments are low, they've driven out most of their people that can make them, Metal Gear doesn't make that much money, and it's not something the company really has the stomach for anymore. Once Metal Gear and PES are finished, they'll be out completely.
Of course there is the other issue of them treating their employees even worse than most other Japanese companies do, and how they've been a mess internally for years, but that's a separate topic for elsewhere.
Dear Wii Fit Trainers on For Glory: Please stop using Header on the edge of the stage. It's an extremely predictable move, and it adds nothing to your strategy.

Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. That's why I just wait for her/him to use the soccer ball, inevitably fail, and have to come back to the stage to actually do something.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Sometimes I like to try and bait out for the dunk. Most of the time I'm just stalling up to the ledge when I do it.
Did I do you proud, Bruno? (wherever you are)
Header provides a slight boost to recovery, and if you know how to direct it, the projectile can keep the enemy back. All in all, it's kind of a useless move though, since it does little damage and knockback unless you get the full combo, which almost no one can be set up for.
Again, makes me wonder if they were purposefully trying to make Wii Fit Trainer weak or what. Header is just... such a weird move.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorWell that's just bizarre.
Also, remember how I was complaining about people swapping chars fo make a mirror match? I tried to get around that today and ended up in a Kirby mirror match.
Apparently he thought he could win by using kirbicides, it didn't work

That B-air got me killed by a Lucas Up-Smash
At a point where I ended up having to convince myself that Lucas's Up-Smash just had invincibility frames somehow
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI really wanted Ashley in Smash. I guess I'm happy enough that she made it in as an assist, maybe she's got good chances for next game, assuming Wario Ware is still relevant in six years.

Hrm. Though I suppose it's worth mentioning that Mewtwo still had plenty of time to get hit by landing lag with the scenario in question (and said Lucas was charging in a highly telegraphed fashion), so I don't recall it being anything that circumstantial.

Konami hasn't been right in the head recently if Jim "Fucking" Sterling is anything to go by. I wouldn't be completely surprised if Snake got in, but I wouldn't be disappointed if he didn't.
