The winning strategy is play a character with faster attacks and that's about it i.e. not King Dedede.
Honestly I think a lot of those rapid-hit aerial attacks could survive with a little more endlag or landing lag attached to them, it's pretty ridiculous to force your opponent into shielding and still give you enough time to grab once you land, or got into a jab series that can only be partially dodged. Yoshi, Mario, Fox, and the Tornado Mario Bros. are pretty big offenders of this.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorProbably an old video,
but this man's voice is just MAGICAL.
Mario and Doctor Mario for me, a person whose primary mains use a lot of projectiles and Mario/Doc always seem to know to use their cape. Once I played against a level 9 Mario just for kicks while playing as Pac Mac and the !#@%!($*^@ plumber was reflecting fire hydrants back at me!
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"...I question the logic behind making Robin go into freefall after hitting a Nosferatu.
I can't even reliably use it a suicide tactic, they pop right up after while I plummet.
I question the logic behind a lot of Robin's flaws, but after doing that twice already it sticks out sore in my mind.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanI can understand why a lot of moves would have you go into freefall, especially if constant uses of them could be a pain, so giving them that weakness makes sense. Besides, how often is Zelda using Din's Fire in the air where she's that vulnerable if she goes into free fall? Din's Fire is one of those tricky moves to balance, after all.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorI still question that too!
Whyyyyyyy.
Robin only gets a maximum of 4 uses on Nosferatu... I like to believe that even if you wanted to fish for it a whole bunch, the durability issue behind it kinda cancels that out.
Other characters I can totally get like the Giant Punch, PK Flash/Freeze, and Burst Grenade.
You lost me on the Din's Fire point, though. Are you asking "well she's already that vulnerable using it, why not put her in freefall?" Sorry, I couldn't really tell that well.

In general I keep playing her as a close range fighter regardless of Luma's existence, so I'm probably playing her wrong.
Also, it feels like Zelda's a little stronger this patch, but that could just be the placebo effect. I just know that I'm having more fun with her than I used to.
Giant Punch will always be my personal favorite freefall move.
As if DK needed any more help getting consistently shafted in this series.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guySome people use Mario's Cape to gimp opponents' recoveries, but I've rarely seen a Mario that uses F.L.U.D.D. on one that uses a move that renders you helpless on the edge of a stage. You could use Burst Grenade, Spin Attack, or Giant Punch close to the ledge and then fall to your doom as Mario sprays you with water.
I could have sworn I did that to a Sheik once.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. So, with my birthday money, I ordered the following unicorn amiibo from Amazon:
- King Dedede
- Marth
- Ike
- Lucario
- Shulk
- Little Mac
- Meta Knight
- Ness
- Greninja
Marth is the only one that is not a Japanese import.
Lucario, Shulk, Little Mac, Meta Knight, and Ness are all coming from the same seller.
You guys think it's cool that I got so many unicorn amiibo?
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!

Yoshiiiiiiii.
Throw me against a good Yoshi and it'll be a miracle if I can get a win out.
The down air... the up air... Every single one of its moves, really, but here's a shout out to Egg Toss.
Egg Toss pisses me off the most because I can never predict how to correctly avoid it and avoid getting punished for it.
The irony is that I can play Yoshi just fine and do like using him sometimes. ...Except when it comes to aiming Egg Toss. I can almost never aim it how I want.

Oh god, I know exactly that. Most frustrating thing in the world. ...I haven't figured out the proper counter to that either. Or at least I can't remmeber.
