I'm pissed.
Not only did they not lift the 94 custom stage/replay limit, they reduced it to 88.
Just why.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — Ultimatepheerto make sure you're doing good on destroying all of those clearly obsolete pre-patch recordings, obviously
Something that can just as easily be managed through the system itself.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI'm admittedly unfamiliar with how the Wii U does it (though I believe that you're still able to freely delete things in-game anyway?), but the 3DS - and previous systems, at that - let's you manage memory without anything of the sort.
Regardless, the point remains that the user shouldn't need to be hand-held just to understand how excess data should be handled. Especially through heavy-handed restrictions that nobody would know about until they're hit with it.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyWell, my birthday is only a few days away.
I'm likely going to be Smashing with my two friends that I talked about yesterday.
What I should do with the Link player is also play Smash 64 with him and watch as he fails to realize that his favorite tactic doesn't work in SSB 64!
I kinda want Sakurai to nerf Link's and Toon Link's spin attack so that it's just like how it was in SSB 64 just so that I can laugh as he tries to use Spin Attack as a substitute for an aerial.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!
x6: There was no limit in Brawl, thanks to SD card support. I get that Sakurai doesn't want another Project M, but sheesh, isn't there another way besides disabling the entire function?

As someone who's been playing a little bit of 64 lately...I can confirm.
Then again, 64!Link's recovery might be able to benefit from 4's ledge system. Even Little Mac, Dr. Mario, and Ganondorf can recover if you can pull it off well.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.
I'm not really being too serious here, just that I want to see my friend realize his favorite aerial with Link would no longer work.
Though he also loves using the bombs...
Serious mode:
I really spam attacks when they have the character make a noise. I don't want to hear "PIKA!", "PIKACHU!", "HIYAYAYAYA!" or the noises the Links make most of the match because it gets annoying.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!I love Luigi's "crawl".
For some reason, my friend thinks that he has to hit the special button (he uses Wii Remote and Nunchuck) multiple times whenever he uses Spin Attack or Triforce Slash. He also does it with Link's Up-Smash. I guess he thinks that he needs to hit it multiple times in order for those moves to hit multiple times but they are multi-hit attacks anyways.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!
Probably doesn't help that you've got some characters who do benefit from things like that. I'm sure I have some weird, pointless twitch with Dedede. Might be why I very rarely find myself canceling the jump almost immediately after Super Dedede Jumping.
You know what I wish was an option? To map Y on the 3DS to Jab. I have a ton of trouble inputting jabs as opposed to smashes (and sometimes the opposite), all the while there's a perfectly useless button lying perfectly within thumb's reach.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.If there is one change I'd like to see in Smash is to have separate "weak" and "strong" normal attack buttons, if only just so jabs and smashes have separate inputs and stop being dependent on your ability to move the stick not to quickly/quickly enough in the middle of combat.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."That's why I set my tilts to C-stick, which has been 99% reliable. The 1% is purely online lag having a weird time registering it, since unlike other inputs, it doesn't seem to just "delay" the action.
You could also try using A and B to do smash attacks, if that helps.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -Wanderlustwarrior

I got back from the beach and goddaaaaaaamn this update is taking for ever. I want my Hoo-Hahs, dammit!
