The whole spam projectiles method is the whole reason I've decided to learn Falco. My only other main with a reflector is Dr. Mario, but I want give my opponents a taste of their own medicine while I'm at it. R.O.B. players are especially bad with using projectiles until you get close, rolling to the other side of the stage and repeating it.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardTo be fair, Robo Beam doesn't take very long to charge, especially in Smash 4. If players aren't spamming his projectiles, they'll usually throw a gyromite and attack with the laser as a followup.
Villager is a nightmare for Wario players for that very reason. I've had matches where Villagers would throw the bike and then Pocket it again. It gets so annoying.
Except Wario isn't even a projectile character. He needs the Wario Bike for a guaranteed horizontal recovery.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.ROB can't get too spammy but if he paces himself, he can roll-spam to draw things out until his laser or gyro come back. For the most part, an obnoxious but not efficient strategy is to use a gyroid to create an obstacle for slow characters to move around. But really I think just about anything else has a higher chance of working overall + being more fun for all parties involved.
In general, not sure how spammers have fun playing the game, win or lose.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorI do it when I'm feeling particularly Troll-y.
Because seeing people frustrated and helpless is funny sometimes.
Actually, Villager can Pocket Sheik's needles as well
.
I've always had a fun time pocketing Water Shuriken, granted, against non-main Greninjas with my non-main Villager. But the result is usually positive unless Greninja is getting tricky. A pocketed fully-charged Water Shuriken can kill Greninja pretty easily.
Speaking of pocket scenarios, I think my only useful strategy against Villagers is letting them take a gordo. Many are super eager to throw it back out, and it's not too difficult to whack it back at them for a deadly counter. Are Villagers able to manipulate the angle of a gordo the same way Dedede can? Or does it have a set interval, or go the same angle Dedede threw it at?

Oh yeah this wonderful strategy
showed up at EVO. The player using it reached top 32 and even took out Japan's best player (Rain).
Something awesome just happened while playing today. I was playing as Mario on FG and was up against this Kirby. So Kirby was offstage and tried to recover using Final Cutter. The problem was, instead of recovering to the ledge, he landed on the platform. After Kirby finishes his Final Cutter attack (when he lands on the ground), he's rendered helpless if something knocks him back (a Gust Bellows, for example).
Somehow, with the right timing, I F.L.U.D.D.'d him away from existence after he landed, which netted me the win. It looked a lot like this
.
F.L.U.D.D. KOs are always the most satisfying.
The moral of this story: If your character's vertical recovery is tricky to use, always, always recover to the ledge.

So what would you say is your favorite Final Smash in the series?
For me, it would probably be Ryu's Shin Shoryuken. Most satisfying Final Smash ever...especially when it connects.
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"Favorite to use? I love tearing things up as Wario-Man. Much more fun than Giggle Bowser or most other transformation Final Smashes.
Favorite aesthetically? I do like Yoshi's, and it's deceptively powerful as well, but my favorite in that regard would probably have to be good ol' Blue Falcon.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!

For a while I would fire Fox's blaster until my opponent came over to me, then do some acrobatics around them to get the upper hand.
Projectiles are important for the fighters who have them. It's a safe option that forces your opponent to get in close, so then you either move and do it again or hope their damage is high enough to smash them away.
With enough variety, it doesn't get stale. But really any strategy is viable if it helps you win, no matter how cheap.
Unless it's something like smacking away their controller or sitting on top of them so they can't see. ;p
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay
