Ah, see, All-Star has some wonkiness to how launchers work- Sonic's pretty good since his attacks come out fast and are fairly direct, whereas auto-combo moves like Sheik's Forward Smash are not so great, and Olimar's Pikmin are all on the relatively hard-to-hit-with side and don't have enough punch to 'em- They end up needing four or five hits to KO in a mode where the standard is one or two.

I sure said that! That's sort of what being a mascot would entail, yes.
Regardless, all of the SSB Pokemon (even Greninja, frankly) have had exponentially higher exposure and popularity in their respective periods than the likes of Wario have had in their entire careers.
...I'm not sure what the basis of this is. Have you seen his Up Smash?

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyAll-Star is really just annoying to me. I never had too much trouble with it on Hard with any character, other than losing a few times with characters I'm not great as.
Though, the one round with all the Pokemon, Ness, and Ganon is god awful. You have a bunch of fast characters to rack up percentage, and then a bunch of heavy characters that can kill you in one hit due to the fact you had your damage racked up.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI find Round 2 and 4 worse. Round 3's only real problematic character for me is Sheik, who runs around throwing needles everywhere. The only KO-worthy character is Ness, since his yo-yo counts as a projectile attack apparently, but it's easy to keep him at a distance.
Round 2 pits you against Villager and Olimar, the two deadliest characters in All-Star, at the same time.
Round 4 only has one KO-worthy opponent, Dedede, but my GOD if his Gordo spam isn't annoying. Not only are they pretty much a OHKO unless you go in with 0%, but in my experience all he ever DOES is toss Gordos everywhere, and he seems to be able to angle them just right so that they bounce into you out of nowhere.
Also doesn't help that the round opens up with Fox, Meta Knight, and Falco, who can't kill you but are really good at racking up damage to soften you up for Dedede, and good at covering each other's asses defensively.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!official character popularity list made by yours truly

That would have more to do with Zelda's recovery just being that bad.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyHydro Pump is like the Difficult, but Awesome version of F.L.U.D.D.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.I still can't get over how early her teleport K Os, and somehow, I always fall for it and am never able to pull it off myself.
Sometimes it feels like the game has an "is it me playing?" detector or something and weakens my character accordingly.

By the way, I didn't get a chance to say this while I was banned; I'm sorry for being such a sore loser those times I played against you.
Matches with such a massive skill gap can be a little disheartening, and I have a bad habit of letting it get to me.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — Ultimatepheer@Epic Bleye: I'm still trying to comprehend your list. I'm confused as to how Mario and Peach have shit popularity?
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!Say, Moon, is there any particular reason that you only use Greninja's default color?
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI use the default palette for my characters most of the time.
I'm a plain kind of person.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. As a teleport, yes, that would sorta be a given.
As a recovery move where you can't manage to land it safely immediately upon finishing, however, it's overly compensated deadweight. As your link very clearly demonstrates.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyWhen I play as my main the Villager, I typically use the fifth one (the sleepy-eyed boy in the tye-dye tee). I also like using either the Purple/White or Green/Purple Lucarios, the Silver or Purple Charizards, or the Purple, Cyan, Yellow, Black, or Pink Yoshis. (Usually the Purple one though.) I'm kind of a purple type of guy.
I also usually play as Iggy, Roy, or Ludwig when playing as one of the Koopa Kids.
I typically use the standard colors when playing with Ryu, Mewtwo (sometimes I use the light blue color though), or characters I don't use very often. (Peach, Zelda, both versions of Samus, Pit, Pittoo, etc.)
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"

Rather ironic that Olimar is the worst character to play as in All-Star, but easily the most dangerous opponent to face.
Sonic's Forward-Smash is sufficiently powerful for KO'ing, his Down-Smash is good for getting some breathing room, and his Up-Smash is good for racking up some damage for the KO.
