@76945: Yup, a company called Raphnet makes them. Set the C-stick to "Jump" in controls, and it feels just like Smash 64.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerBut the N64 doesn't have a C stick...there's a problem there.

I never use the C-stick anyway. It just doesn't feel as convenient.
Unless you meant the "set C-stick to jump" thing. The adapter changes the C-stick into the C-buttons. Disguises it as a Classic Controller, you see.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerJumping before Quick-Smash, interesting...an easily debatable topic.
Someone obviously prioritizes one over the other.

It also works with directions. Up + A + B = up Smash.
I think they added that in due to all the broken circle pad complaints on the 3DS version...

Doing tilts quickly instead of smashes or dashes on accident is a problem for me as well.
I tried setting the c-stick to tilts, but I couldn't get used to it!
Also, funny how we all call it "the c-stick" despite it hasn't been called that since the Gamecube!

The A+B = Smash thing is too awkward for me, I don't need it anyway. It would've been convenient if It was there when my Circle Pad had that problem of getting stuck when tapping...but I no longer have said problem.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I actually don't use the c-stick for smahes anymore, oddly enough.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI use the C stick (or, in my case, right analog stick) for smashes and aerials.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.I don't see what the big deal with the C-stick is, anyway. The normal Analog Stick + A is so much easier.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — Ultimatepheer@Baffle Blend: Besides being able to use aerial attacks without altering your trajectory (the inability to use the C-stick for such in Melee was a huge Scrappy Mechanic), not everyone can pull off Smash or Tilt attacks reliably - especially in a hectic environment - as well as you seem to be able to.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Another reason why I like the N64 controller — I find it a lot easier to do differentiate between tilts and smashes with its stiffer joystick.
I just have too much fun with it.
It's getting late today, but anyone want to play against me tomorrow?

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerIt's generally natural to mix up just doing Tap Smashes and C-stick Quick Smashes, I find.

Seriously, what the fuck was up with the casting in that film? When Bob Hoskins as Mario is the least bizarre choice, you've got problems.
I sure said that!
