Oh, no, the system would recognize it as a different particular amiibo. I just meant they're be no difference if the designs lead you to believe so- Now that you've clarified it's a taste thing, sure, go for it.
Nope. Like I said, Smash would recognize a red-stand Mario the exact same way it'd recognize a Smash Bros. Mario, and even if it didn't you can basic amiibo setup done within the amiibo page on the Wii U's configuration menu.

I sure said that!Basically, Smash Mario, Mario Mario, Silver Mario, and Gold Mario all use the exact same chip inside. It's purely aesthetic.
Anyway, picspam time.
High-quality recreation of For Glory mode.

Not sure if this is a meme of some kind, but princesses carrying guys.

A big dress to fill. Lucina always did strike me as somewhat of a flat character.

What third party characters would you like to see as DLC?
Here is a list of third party characters I would be pleased with being playable:
- Heihachi
- Jacky or Akira
- Scorpion
- Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes
- Snake
- Nightmare (Soul Calibur)
- Alex Kidd
- Ryu Hayabusa
- Simon Belmont
- Banjo-Kazooie
And the following I have no emotional attachment to but I would think would be cool additions to Smash Bros:
- Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia
- Ni GH Ts
- Bayonetta
- Rayman
- Patty Wagon from Mighty Switch Force!
- Shantae
- Shovel Knight
I think having multiple characters per franchise is unlikely, hence why I didn't say Shadow, Dr. Eggman, Knuckles, Bass, Ken, Chun-Li, Proto Man, Zero, X, Guile, or M. Bison.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!At this point, my list is basically Snake and Simon Belmont, both of whom are extremely unlikely given Konami's suicidal corporate temper-tantrums of late.
It'll never happen, but Vyse would be pretty cool. Maybe he's got a shot as a Swordfighter costume, at least?
I sure said that!So today I found out you CAN run into the DLC stages online, Found both Ryu's stage and Dreamland 64 in For Glory.
Unfortunately I'm falling under the impression I'm one of the worst Greninja players on the 3DS... But while goofing around I got a KO using Stone Kirby off-stage and survived, that was kinda cool.

Helps that he's rather starved on crossover experience after a certain series dumped him off.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI think it'd be rather interesting to see what they could do with Bomberman. Maybe it could involve a system where, as a match progresses, he picks up icons that boost the strength and range of his bombs , or how many can be planted at once (which woild initially start out rather small). I reckon it'd tie in rather neatly with the rage mechanic.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Right now, I'm thinking that Bomberman could be a fighter who can deal very heavy damage and knockback, but these attacks will backfire if used incorrectly or in the wrong situation. In other words, Charizard's side-B spread over an entire moveset.
Or maybe he could have a move that sets up a wall which blocks a great number of attacks, but has a lengthy end-lag. Just a random thought.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Bomberman's fun to play as in Super Smash Flash 2, if you want to see one implementation.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerJust a quick question, why does everyone keep referring to Bowser as Dennis Hopper?
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardOh. I thought that name sounded familiar.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI need to watch it again.
Also, anyone want to add me for some matches later? I want to shamelessly show off my custom stages.
I'm a bit of a Disco Dan with Smash, I realize.
Ever since I bought an N64 controller adapter for Super Mario 64 and Donkey Kong 64, I've been using it with Smash more and more until it became my primary controller.
party like it's 1999
It's So Bad, It's Good for me- It's a dumb, cheesy plot with dumb, cheesy effects and dumb, cheesy performances.
I sure said that!

...unless you mean that the game will recognize all Marios used with my Wii U as being "Gonzales", and therefore I won't be able to have two Mario amiibo fighters?
