@Karxrida: In Awakening, Robin is pretty ludicrously powerful due to having very good innate skills, some stat customization, and access to almost every class and corresponding skill in the game. Morgan is like that, but better.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.What are your best name ideas for amiibo in general?
I'm an idiot who named their Lucario "Bruise Lee"
Heck if I know. I've got a Link named for his Gender Flip counterpart out of the Hyrule Warriors artbook and that's it so far.
I sure said that!I don't remember the name I gave to my Link or if I even gave him one at all. I have yet to use the rest of my amiibo for the game, but I named my (Fire) Mario "Fiyahballz," which, in hindsight, would have been a better name for Yoshi.
If I ever get a Ness, I'm going to name him "P. Ness."
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.![]()
The thing is, the internals of an amiibo of a character are identical even between different figure types- Smash cannot distinguish between Smash, Super, Silver or Gold Mario, because the microchips in them are indistinct before user data is saved to them.

I sure said that!Reportedly Pikachu is decently good on a tier list, lots of combos that can be done using some new gimmicks on his attacks. At the very least, I hate playing against good Pikachus, and it seems like Pikachu's most common cause of death is fucking up the recovery.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorPikachu is often considered a top 10 character if not top 5. The only thing he lacks is kill power and so often opponents can live to high percentages and abuse rage against him. He also lacks a bit in the range department. His edgeguarding is amazing though, having the best recovery in the game helps too.
Basically the same problems he has in his native games. High speed, good accuracy, TERRIBLE defense and no hitting power. The best of the Com Mons, but not great against the elite.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youEr, he is the elite in this game. If we're going to use parallels, he's effectively holding a Light Ball for every attack.
As for kill power, I'd like to note that barely-red-range Up-throw -> Thunder followed up by his nigh-inescapable (and inexplicably powerful for what it is) B-air is typically how a lot of FG stocks end.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyOn amiibo: I named my Yoshi Boshi, but I don't have much of a desire to get any more amiibos besides him.
If I ever get my hands on a Shulk amiibo, however, I'm going to name him Zanza. Anyone who's played Xenoblade will probably know why.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I need to get back into training my amiibo.
What would be good things to teach:
- Bruise Lee the Lucario
- Sanik the Sonic <- claimed by GF
- Blu Bomber the Megaman
- Blaze the Charizard <- claimed by GF
- NAME PENDING the Captain Falcon
- Fox the Fox <- claimed by GF
I'm average at this game, so not sure what I could teach them.
It's unlikely I can make them unstopable killing machines.
BTW, does anyone have any idea exactly how much is the boost from "all-round trade-off" ability? And how long does it take to reach maximum effect?
Considered that Lucario might do well with it and hefty defence investment, as the Aura modifier would benefit from starting off at 60%

Oh boy...amiibo names:
- Pac Man: Puck Man
- Mario: Fire Lord
- DK: Expand Dong with Pink Alt
- Luigi: Mr. L
- Bowser: Koopa
- Peach: Daisy
- Link: Dark Link
- Zelda: Prncs Kenny
- Samus: Dark Samus
- Mega Man: Rockman
- Sonic: FTA
- Kirby: Game Boy

Should I name Captain Falcon after Iwata when I get him, or should I save that for Ness?
Also, what is the one stage that your friends keep requesting to play on? Pokemon Stadium 2 is for some reason very popular with many of the people I've played with in real life.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!@76908: Somehow I predicted the future. I'm coming for that Ness.

Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser Charizard

My friends and I did a Melee tournament to honor Iwata-san. Final match came between one of my friends as Samus and myself as Link. Samus won. The stage we saved for the finale was Battlefield.
My friend came up with a smart and somewhat annoying strategy with Samus: Charge up the Charge shot. Build up a shit load of damage to knock opponent off the stage. When they get back on the stage at high precentages, shoot the Charge Shot. Rinse and repeat. Although right after he'd KO me with Charge Shot I would immediately KO him with an Up Smash.
We did do a little bit of Smash Wii U and the other friend didn't like me constantly trying to use counter as Lucina, yet he no problem using Roy's version of Dolphin Slash. He also claimed that I "cheated"...by using Shield Breaker to push him off the screen (stage was Suzaku Castle) on his last life.
