...Not what I meant, but w/e
As for the leak, even if it didn't exist, I'm fairly certain that the support for the Ry duo's reveals would never have overshadowed the likes of, say, Megaman or Mewtwo.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyLong video, but this guy did Classic mode with a GCN dancepad.
The dancepad only has the d-pad, Z, A, X, Y, and B buttons available. And you can't remap the d-pad for directional movement.

Smashboards is currently trying to make each character board there do a drawing of their main thanking Iwata for everything he's done.
So hey, I figured I'd mention it here so any artist here could do something like that. As much as I would love to do Greninja and/or Lucas doing that, I can't draw to save my life.
TIL why nobody draws banana bunches
Not the slightest amount of notable artistic experience here either, but I thought I might as well chip in with something.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyWait, is Iwata dead?

Yeah. He died a couple days ago, and they announced it yesterday. Apparently, it was complications from a tumor in his bile duct that killed him. He was 55.
Hell, forget businessman, the guy was a great game designer and programmer. He was one of very few Nintendo presidents who actually joined Nintendo as a programmer — some of the other presidents didn't even play Nintendo games at all. The only reason the Gen 2 Pokémon games had Kanto is because Iwata figured out how to cut down the memory space the rest of the game took up by half, allowing a whole other region. Not to mention he's one of the biggest reasons the Mother series even exists.
And even apart from that, he was an upstanding guy — when the Wii U was failing, he cut his own pay to make sure no one else's pay had to suffer for it because he believed everyone was necessary to save the system.
Mr. Iwata was an important and fantastic part of Nintendo's history and I'm really sad to see him go.
"We're home, Chewie."This is terrible. What a sad thing to wake up and learn about. You will be missed Iwata.

Indeed. The world is just that little bit poorer for having lost him. He was a great guy.
Still, the best way we can pay tribute to him is to continue enjoying the things he helped to create. We may not have met, but he's someone I'll always remember

I drew a picture of Reggie, Miyamoto, Mario, the Balloon Fight guy, and Ethan sitting on a bench watching the sunset in thought. It isn't quite finished yet, though.
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"

Same for Roy (from Fire Emblem). If he wasn't leaked in advance, his return would have been a sizable surprise as well.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.
