I kinda wanna give my opinions on all the stages in Wii U (including the returning ones).
NEW STAGES:
- Battlefield and Big Battlefield- This game is really what made me love Battlefield for some reason. Brawl's Battlefield couldn't hook me. Preferred tracks here are both Brawl Battlefield themes and the New Battlefield theme
- Boxing Ring- A really nice addition to the series. I love knocking the lights down on top of my opponents. Preferred track here is "Tomorrow's Passion"
- Coliseum- Meh. It's an alright stage but no Castle Siege. Preferred track here is "Id (Purpose)"
- Duck Hunt-LOVE this one. I really enjoy beating up the ducks here. Preferred tracks here are the Duck Hunt Medley and the Famicom Medley
- Final Destination and Omega forms- I've always loved Final Destination. Preferred FD track is the Brawl Final Destination theme.
- Flat Zone X-Meh. I don't care about any of the tracks here to name a preference
- Gamer- I really enjoy this one. I find avoiding 5-Volt easy. The CPU can't evade her, though. Preferred tracks here are both versions of Ashley's theme.
- Garden of Hope-I kinda like this one. Definitely better than Distant Planet. Preferred tracks here are "Pikmin Theme", "Ai No Uta", and "World Map from Pikmin 2"
- Gaur Plain- Another one I love. I like fighting Metal Face. Preferred tracks here are "Gaur Plains", "You Will Know Our Names", and "Engage the Enemy"
- Great Cave Offensive-I like using the base form for 8 Player, and Omega for 4 player Smash. Preferred tracks are "King Dedede's Theme" and "Forest/Nature Area"
- Jungle Hijinks-Really fun to play on. Preferred tracks are "Battle for Storm Hill" and "DK Rap"
- Kalos Pokemon League-This one I kinda like. Preferred track is "N's Castle Medley"
- Mario Circuit-Enjoy this one. Like how it is like "Mute City" from Melee. I don't really have a track preference here, though.
- Mario Galaxy-YES! I love this stage. I love how round this stage is. I love all the tracks, but my favorite is "Gust Garden Galaxy".
- Miiverse-I find this to be very entertaining if just for the comments alone. Preferred track is the Big Brain Academy Theme
- Mushroom Kingdom U- I really enjoy this stage. Preferred Tracks are the Mario 3D World theme and the Lost Levels Medley.
- Orbital Gate Assault-My favorite stage. I especially am loving the Smash Taunts. I love all the tracks here.
- Pac Land-I surprisingly love this stage. I can control myself well when platforming here. I have no track preference.
- Palutena's Temple- See my opinion on Great Cave Offensive. Preferred tracks here are Destroyed Skyworld, Dark Pit's Theme, and Magnus's Theme
- Pilotwings-Another stage I love. Preferred track would have to be "Light Plane".
- Pyrosphere-Meh. Preferred tracks are Vs. Ridley and Vs. Meta Ridley
- Skyloft-An okay stage. I have no track preference
- Suzaku Castle-Enjoying this one so far. No track preference yet.
- Town and City-I kinda like this one. Preferred track is "Outdoor at 7pm"
- Wily Castle-Love this stage. Yes, even with the Yellow Devil. Preferred tracks are the Mega Man 2 Medley and Spark Man's theme.
- Windy Hill Zone- Good, but not as good as Green Hill. It'd be easier to name the tracks I dislike on here.
- Wii Fit Studio-Meh. Preferred track is Super Hoop
- Woolly World-My second favorite Yoshi stage in the series. Preferred track would have to be both versions of the Woolly World theme.
- Wrecking Crew-See opinions on Flat Zone X
- Wuhu Island-I kinda enjoy this stage. Preferred Track is the Wii Sports Opening/Select theme
Next post will be about the familiar stages because holy shit this is a long post.

AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!(cont. from previous post)
FAMILIAR STAGES:
- Dream Land 64- HELL YES THIS IS BACK! Preferred tracks are the Dream Land theme, Fountain of Dreams, and Planet Popstar
- Kongo Jungle 64- I honestly never thought that we'd get any familiar stages that weren't from Brawl or Melee, so this being in the game surprised me. Happy that this is back. Preferred Tracks are the DKC Returns Theme (Vocal) and the King K. Rool theme
- Hyrule Castle and Peach's Castle-I like that Hyrule Castle is back, but why choose Peach's Castle over Saffron City?
- Onett-An okay stage. Preferred tracks would be Smashing Song of Praise, Pollyanna, Porky's Theme, and the Onett theme from Melee
- Temple-Like Base form in 8 Player, Omega only for 4 player. I like all the tracks in this stage.
- Yoshi's Island-Why is this one back? Why not bring back the N64 Yoshi stage instead? Preferred track is the Yoshi's Story theme from SSB 64
- 75m-Why is this one back? Track preference is the DK theme.
- Bridge of Eldin-I enjoy this stage. Track preference is the main Zelda theme.
- Castle Siege-My favorite FE stage. Preferred tracks are the FE theme, Fire Emblem (Melee), Winning Road (Roy's Hope) and Victory is Near

- Mario Circuit-Another good one. I love all the Mario Kart themes on this one.
- Norfair-A good stage. Preferred track are both versions of Brinstar
- Pokemon Stadium 2-I am so fucking tired of this one. A lot of people I play this game with in real life keep asking me to pick this one. HATE IT. Preferred tracks are both versions of the Pokemon Theme, the Gold/Silver Battle theme, Poke Floats, and Victory Road.
- Port Town Aero Dive-LOVE this stage. Preferred tracks are all the non-GX themes.
- Skyworld-Alright. Preferred tracks are the Underworld Theme and the Title Theme
- Smashville-Love this stage. Preferred tracks are The Roost and Go K.K. Rider!
Well, from some days ago, I really like Smash Mewtwo, mostly because it gives of a feeling of not even trying. Moves around showing of, pulling out insanely damaging attacks ANYWAY.
And seriously, complain all you want about the tail, but it is larger than its body, and it'd be a waste of a potential reach-increasing body part.
It also can learn Iron Tail, Aqua Tail, and has an attack stat FAR higher than Charizard's, so no reason to complain about that.
Ness and Lucas have an excuse to using PSI for everything due to their design, Mewtwo's design is inviting to go Physical. And Mewtwo X IS a thing, and is the strongest physical beast in the franchise, anyway.
Out of curiosity:
Do any of you guys have friends who are a bit too spam happy with either the multi-hit jabs, specials, or Smash Attacks? Cause that basically describes my friends who actually attend my high school. It's annoying when one of them uses Shulk and loves to use Smash attacks.
This exact same friend thinks that the point of smash is to continuously jump to avoid getting hit. And he also keeps mistakenly calling Ryu's "Shoryuken" a "Hadoken".
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!![]()
Funny you mention that, I've gotten in the habit when my friends throw projectiles at me when I'm Fox to use my reflector. It lead to a period during a few matches when my friend would be Doc and I was either Falco or Fox and we would basically play Ping Pong with the Pills.
Also yesterday, my friend was Kirby and I was Dedede. He would try to spam Stone but I would attack as soon as he got out of Stone. Final Cutter is difficult for me to counter.
One match he was Mega Man and was a bit too projectile spam-happy but I was Meta Knight and used Dimensional Cape to warp behind him and try to attack him.
I won against his Larry by dumb luck because of 5 Volt.
I actually saved two replays from last week where another friend was Link for one match and I was Link for another and it shows the difference in skill level between my friends who spam specials and smashes and myself who tends to not do that. I even lampshaded it to him saying "How does it feel to actually fight a somewhat skilled Link player?"
You can tell there's a line between skilled players and unskilled players because unskilled players spam and skilled players don't. I wonder what would happen if my friends fought a 1v1 match against Moon or even Some Call Me Johnny or Ryan of Brain Scratch Commentaries.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!I was watching some kids playing Smash Wii U the other day, and two of them were Charizards who did nothing but do Flare Blitz the whole time. (One of them actually won each match he played in this way, oddly enough.)
Also, according to them, every Charizard other than the standard one is "Dark Charizard", regardless of color. (They called the Silver color that name, and then still call it that when the kid switched to the Pink Charizard.)
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"I just took Roy to a few FG matches and probably KO'd twice with the forward smash when I shouldn't have. In both cases the attack was sweetspotted and I was about between the center of the stage and the edge...and in both cases the red spark that usually signifies a KO didn't appear.
Is Roy's forward smash really that powerful, or did my opponents just DI poorly?
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. You know what's fun? Crescent Slash. It's an absolute AI killer. Seriously, it comes out so quick that not even level 9s have time to react, the get pushed back, come at you again, rinse and repeat until it's staled into uselessness or they're high enough to kill.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.
What you're basically saying is you want everyone to just speak Old English. Because all of modern English is either loanwords from other languages or wrong definitions of pre-existing words that became commonly accepted.
Language evolves whether you like it or not, I'm afraid.
"We're home, Chewie."To be fair, even the current definitions don't exactly mean "destroy". At least not "destroy entirely".

First, what's Crescent Slash? Second, I don't think such a thing as "too fast for a level 9 CPU to react to" exists. It just randomly decides not to perfectly block it sometimes for the sake of making it possible for a human to win.
Marth/Lucina Up B custom. You know how that one basically almost immediately shoots you upward? It's like that, only angled forward. It shoots your vertical recovery to shit, but it's a lot of fun and actually combos off of forward throw at low percentages.

Yeah, that scarf is really good on Link. It's a shame it probably won't be a Canon Immigrant for the Zelda series as a whole.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
