Roy still has considerably less moves that are original to him than Lucas does so I'd say he's probably the one that adds the least.

Also, in a less tangible sense, Roy's the fifth Fire Emblem character, and the less-liked star of a less-liked game in that series, whereas Lucas is the second EarthBound character and taken from a cult classic.

Lame. Roy is my favorite of the Fire Emblems and I care for Lucas least of all the downloadables.

So earlier I had an idea for potential (albeit insanely unlikely) DLC in the future. You know how in the Smash Ballot, they said content originating from any video game has potential to make it into Smash? I know it's not likely, but imagine if, as stage DLC, they made something based on the test chambers in Portal. And G La DOS could be a stage boss or something.

Like I said, unlikely, but still.

I think it'd probably be G La DOS's chamber from the first game, modeled similarly to Frigate Orpheon. Except instead of flipping, there's turrets, cubes, cores, etc.

I'd play it. Hell, I'd want more stages just so we'd get more music in the game.

Sakurai's already stated that they don't intend to do much with stage DLC outside of the ones released/mentioned.

Majority of which being N64 ports, but the point remains.

That would be a-freakn-mazing! Especially if portals were a mechanic. Too bad it's about as likely as one of the Team Fortress 2 dudes being DLC fighters.

Sakurai probably would still only consider it if the series in itself(for the stage) or the character showed up in a Nintendo game as is. Even Cloud has had enough Nintendo appearances to be a legit candidate(and to be fair, he is iconic respectively). Not that I'd vote for him, but you get what I mean.(I'm a Black Mage/Chocobo/Slime fan myself)

I wish that Sakurai would give us Saffron City as a DLC stage.

That's pretty much the only great Pokemon stage in Smash aside from Poke Floats.

I dunno, I like Dialga's Spear Pillar. There's huge hazards, sure, but Dialga at least has the courtesy to announce them well in advance.

I couldn't stand Spear Pillar. 2/3 of the hazards are really annoying. Reversing your controls and a huge beam of energy are just lame. I forgot what the 3rd one is, though...

They'd have to disable some Pokeball Pokemon on that stage if it came back, though. I mean, it's not a horrible stage in concept, but I don't like those types of hazards. I prefer Saffron City or Poke Floats, but I do love Spear Pillar's visuals/music. But hey, Pokemon music. Auto-good in my book. [tup]

[up][up][up]Now I'm wondering what'd happen if they included Spear Pillar and kept Palkia as a stage hazard, leading to the possibility of Pokeball!Palkia showing up and causing even more shenanigans along its stage hazard counterpart...

@Demonfly: Didn't know that Sakurai said as much. Too bad.

Also, isn't Spear Pillar's Brawl music available in 4?

We don't know if two courses could share the same music yet. Only Big Battlefield and Battlefield do so so far. So the music thing doesn't mean much other than a theory. Sakurai has yet to state that. Also, wasn't the Jungle Japes music on another stage yet Jungle Japes showed up anyway?

And yep, the stage flip. Thanks. smile

I'm pretty sure some tracks on Miiverse and Dream Land (64) are ones that are available in other stages.

I don't know what music is on the Wii U version much. I'd check Smash Wiki for that. I'm more invested into the 3DS version.
