[up][up] Uh, Greninja is probably in the top 5 for best recovery in the game. In fact.

... Shoot, never mind me. That was a dumb thing to say.

In almost entirely different news- Of all characters, Meta Knight seems to be the one with the lowest density of shitposts on Miiverse.

This is what I get for combing through the tops of each thread as I add another post to each- If I'm gonna complain, I may as well try to help the problem. I can't draw to save my life but I'm out there, I'm tryin'.

I sure said that!

Never heard the term 'footsies' in relation to gaming tongue

It's a rather common FGC term.

You know, not a lot of people complain about Ganondorf's recovery as much as they do about Little Mac's or Dr. Mario's. I think Omega Tyrant is one of the few who are vocal about it. Why is that?

[up][up][up] “Footsies” is oldschool slang for the mid-range ground-based aspect of fighting game strategy. It refers to a situation where both players are outside of combo range and attack each other with long-range, generally safe attacks (pokes). The ultimate goal is to control the flow of the match, bait the opponent into committing errors, and punish everything."

Greninja in a nutshell.

One of my Live Journal friends was like "why is the DLC pack for Wii U like $30? It wasn't like this with Mario Kart." I had to explain to her that fighting game DLC is different from racing game DLC. Characters and stages will always be around $5 (which she was wondering why about that), while skins will be under $1.

And she also said to me (because I was thinking that she was looking at the pack for both 3DS and Wii U) that she has 0 need for 3DS version. She literally did not know about the Gerudo Valley remix in the 3DS version. I think the 3DS version is worth it just because you have Smash on the go.

Miiverse stage posts of "Bush did 9/11", I assume.

You see that on agar.io too. Or "Bush did 7/11", "9/11 did Bush", ect.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!

If anyone sees a pic on Miiverse that is a very badly drawn callback to Ryu's victory screen in Street Fighter 2 (with Roy in Ken's place), that's mine.

The other characters and their suggested/optimal strategy bits on that site make me realize that I've never really seen someone play a good Pac-Man.

One of my Smashboards friends plays Pac-Man and a good one is certainly very aggravating to play against. Freaking hydrant.

Well that wouldn't be a problem if Greninja had the ability to learn Water Absorb.

The problem is the hydrant, not the water tongue

[up][up]Yes. Hard and nearly impossible and requires that you engineer the set-up more or less, but it can be done, especially with a character that can manage to deal the full launching % to it all at once like Bowser or Ganondorf or so on.

Still more or less a parlor trick outside of very specific circumstances, though.

I sure said that!

About Greninja's height, take a look. Both it and Delphox have the same height according to the Pokedex, but the posture makes a noticeable difference. So the 1.5 meter figure applies to Greninja standing upright.

Dag, you know you've been playing Super Smash Bros too much when you read a favorite childhood book, and, before you've even finished, you've imagined a moveset for the main character, including special moves, some aerials, and even a Final Smash.

Anyone else have this "problem"?

Oh, yeah.
