You can't fight Master Fortress in two-player Classic, anyway. You can only get as far as Master Shadow, even on 9.0.
Dag, you know you've been playing Super Smash Bros too much when you read a favorite childhood book, and, before you've even finished, you've imagined a moveset for the main character, including special moves, some aerials, and even a Final Smash.
Anyone else have this "problem"?
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"Illusion should do fine as well so long as you don't end up being predictable with it.
Though regardless, it's not like close-combat fighters are at some inherently crippling disadvantage against him either.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI came across a Ryu in For Glory that made some use out of Focus Attack Dash Cancel, doing it for movement (especially in the air), dodging, and to try and bait me out. It didn't cause me too much trouble (I was playing as Shulk), but it makes me wonder of the kind of crazy stuff folks could pull off eventually using that technique.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."
x3 This is only when he's doing the Three-Point Landing stance, right?

Like half of the heights listed for Pokemon in the Pokedex are totally crazy. The height comparison thing in ORAS' Pokedex definitely reaffirmed that to me. And it seems like no Pokemon media outside of the Pokedex actually follows what the heights are supposed to be.

Welcome to th:|To be fair the heights in this game seem to be pretty accurate to the Pokédex when we take out Greninja. Pikachu < Jiggly < Lucario < Charizard (if you don't count the wings) < Mewtwo
We do have to consider the fact that Greninja is never really standing in this game, he's always crouching. If you walk with him near Lucario, you can see that he's taller than him even though he's not even standing upright.
Greninja is just smart enough to know that laying low is best in Smash.
Greninja's always keeping a low profile, with the obvious corollary that it gets the least benefit from ducking- Compare that to Mr. Game & Watch or Jigglypuff, who can dodge many attacks thanks to their crouch reducing their profile so much.
Of course, Greninja also doesn't need to take defensive action to get the net benefits of crouching thanks to its naturally low profile, so yeah.
I sure said that!Well, that was grueling, but I've now cleared All-Star as everyone on Hard. I now hate Olimar with a blazing passion. Not only was he by far the hardest person to clear it as, but the enemy Olimar is easily the most dangerous foe in All-Star since for whatever reason his Pikmin attacks count as projectile attacks and thus aren't softened.
It's a terrible mode, but at least it's done now. And on top of that, I have all but two trophies now; Majora's Mask and FLUDD. I could use up my Golden Hammers now since there's only five hammer-able challenges left, but maybe I'll just try and not use any. Be legit.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Greninja still gets a lot of benefit out of crouching, do remember that unlike Jigglypuff, G&W and Kirby, Greninja can crawl, so he can capitalize more on the opportunities he gets from dodging an attack by crouching since he can close in on the opponent that way.
The character that gets the most benefits from crouching is WFT though.
Still, it's kinda crazy. Greninja has a low profile, good range, tied for best mobility in the game, hits hard and has a good projectile. The only thing holding him back is his moves being a bit slow and yet that alone makes a pretty balanced character with a good skill ceiling to him.
Every time I see collapsing states like that, I can't help but think of the sound a N64-era Dinolfos makes upon it's defeat, like here.

So I got the three characters and the Dreamland stage and Ryu just doesn't seem to have a consistent movement speed or whatever. Like his up-b feels like it moves completely differently than the rest of him. Hitting Duck Hunt with down-b is hilarious though.
