It's funny because ROB is technically the Subspace Emissary, so the story mode was really all about him.
And I like Bowser. As a character, as an enemy, and as a fighter. As a character he looks cool and he IS usually pretty nice to his minions, as an enemy he always offers a nice challenge, and as a fighter he's got some strong attacks, even if against higher level opponents I tend to miss a lot...
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would staySakurai was absolutely, undeniably biased in the way he balanced characters back when he was basically the sole person in charge of that. Now whether the degree of his bias is greater than the general human average, that's probably impossible to tell.
(... since I'm going to bed now and I don't want everyone to jump down my throat while I'm trying to get some shut-eye, a clarification: Everyone has certain underlying biases in how they perceive the world and make decisions. When Sakurai made creative decisions, something inside him made some ideas seem better than others. And there's so much evidence throughout the whole series of certain entirely evident tendencies that it's completely ridiculous to argue that he was not biased at all. That doesn't mean I think he intentionally screwed things in his favor, it just means I think an auteur needs an editor or two when it comes to delicate subjects like balance or respectful treatment of intellectual properties.)
I like Bowser, too. He's one of my secondary characters. (He would be one of my mains if I didn't play with the Villager, Lucario, Mewtwo, and Yoshi so much!) I can do pretty well with Wario, as well.
I find it a bit off-putting that Bowser still doesn't have his voice from the Mario games. It made more sense in Melee and Brawl when he was given a primal stance and was designed like a typical monster, but in 4 it sounds out of place now that he looks more like he does in his home series.
Were they planning to give Bowser Jr. realistic grunts and roars, too?
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. The way I see it is that the sounds Bowser makes are basically his equivalent to a human grunting. Bowser Jr. just doesn't do it because he's a bit less serious than his dad.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardBowser Jr. never had generic monster grunts to begin with.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.

@Strawberry: The Great Fox was included. It tried to shoot lasers at the Halberd,
but was dwarfed by it and crushed against the mountain.
