I mainly use Speed, Shield (when I hit 100%), and Smash.
I need to get better about using Jump (because someone who knows how to use Jump is scary.) I only use Buster in scenarios where I'm confident I won't be hit too often by the time it expires, otherwise I think the risks outweigh the rewards.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI go the other way; when I'm highly damaged and my opponent's not, I usually bust out Buster. I'm already at the point where one well placed hit is gonna send me flying, Monado Buster or not, so I might as well try to stack up damage before that happens. And hey, more often that not that has helped me balance out the scales.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."I use Smash surprisingly infrequently. Mainly I go Speed -> Buster -> Jump or Speed for when trying to kill someone, and opting for Shield if my damage is high.

I just get too quick pressing that B button that I end up switching to the wrong Arts. Add to that, I never seem to hit Backslash properly, or register the fast counter, I've sort of dropped using him as a third.
I wasn't too creative with the Arts, either. I usually went Buster immediately, and from there switched to Shield or Smash depending on how much damage I got. I'd switch to Speed if I want to throw off the opponent, but most of the time I'd just go back to Smash or play it neutral. I never really used jump unless I was recovering, or felt that I'd be recovering soon.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorMe being a Shulk main, I usually start off with either no arts, Speed to get a couple of decent hits in, Jump if I plan to fight more aerial, and possible Buster if I wanna get a lot of damage done fast. And Of course, Shield when sh*t hits the fan.
Also, my advice, only use Smash when your opponent is on high percentage and you're not, or if you REALLY need to get a KO soon and are willing to take a big risk.

I honestly don't find myself using Jump or Speed.
I mostly stick to Buster and Smash, and on occasion use Shield if my damage is high. But then I risk just being thrown off the stage and suffering the same fate as Little Mac and Dr. Mario.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Maybe some of that new Starfox game I've heard about?

Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardIt's pretty much a given that they'll announce new DLC characters. I'm hoping they'll surprise us and show off a character no one is expecting, because at this point, everyone is expecting Roy (the Fire Emblem one), Ryu, and Wolf.
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"

I tend to switch between Speed, Buster, and Smash, with the occasional Shield when stuff gets real bad (usually in free for alls). I gotta learn how to use Jump; I've seen it can be amazing for edgeguarding.
