I had a friend in calculus class last year (we were both approaching the end of high school) who had Dolphin on his laptop and GCN controllers so we and a few of our classmates (it was a small class) could play Melee, Brawl, and Project M. By that point it'd been a long while since the last time I played a Smash game, so I had my butt handed quite thoroughly and consistently by him. I only won once against him—while he was Pichu—and then I proceeded to lose against that very same Pichu.
It was...it was embarrassing.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. So I just saw this.
I wonder if we'll be getting a special announcement at E3.
How common are votes for Shantae in the Smash Ballot, anyway?
If she actually does make it in the future, I doubt her announcement will come before Wolf's inevitable reveal.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. It's fairly obvious Matt's just being playful and this isn't any kind of confirmation. At least one further tweet goes along such lines. Plus an update to the Half-Genie Hero Kickstarter page where Wayforward just straight up said "Thanks for all the fan support, we don't know if Shantae will get in, so keep voting for her."
But, since this is the Smash fandom, everybody blows things out of proportions and then the flames start...
You know, now that I think about it, in hindsight it was a pretty good idea to cut Isaac from the assist trophy selection so his chances would be increased.

There is no "chances", only decisions.
Clearly Sakurai acknowledged him in some form considering his removal, but we would have heard something about it by now (or at least gotten obvious indications, like Takamaru's remix) if he was truly planned as a newcomer, original or DLC.

True, but more or less the main reason why characters like Ridley, Chrom, and Waluigi aren't viable choices for the ballot is because they're already in the game in some form, while Isaac isn't. Since Isaac is no longer an assist trophy, he could be given the Little Mac treatment.
I'm not sure if I've heard of Shantae before the character ballot or not, Shovel Knight at least got Smashifyed by the guy who did the rayman fake. Not that that has any bearing on the official decision making.
And isn't the poll open until October or something? If so, I'll be surprised if any announced DLC is from there.

The chances of deciding to include him in a game long since released? When we've been given no indication that Sakurai actually wants a Golden Sun rep?
Noncontributing snark posts aren't particularly beneficial either.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guySo, besides Wolf, who do you think will get announced as DLC during E3, if any?
Does anyone else suspect that we'll get an announcement for Roy (FE) and/or Ryu? Or was that leak just a fluke?
Quite honestly, I don't know who else to expect besides those three.

"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"That wasn't so much a leak as showing us files in the game itself. They completely exist. These are two different things. Datamining gives us data itself within the game. Sometimes we can find out DLC plans this way. This is how we found out that there was the possibility for DLC as is, mainly in the 3DS version(which of course was going to be applied to the Wii U version for character-related content).
It doesn't mean Ryu and Roy are next to be announced(being that there are no Wolf files, they're a pretty fair guess to think so, though). As their victory themes was in the victory files section of the game, it does imply they aren't going to be used outside of an actual win during a match. We even found Lucas files, if I remember correctly.
I don't know what'll be announced there. I'm guessing a trailer for both of them, but I would love to see Wolf noted too. That way the most painful cuts will be back(except Snake, but he wasn't even added cause he was an iconic third party, but because it was a simple friend request. Him not being back isn't that strange either. Kojima's Son already got Snake in Smash. He could be more than satisfied. This could've meant Kojima never asked because his Son didn't care about Snake being in the next game. There's also the idea that Konami and Nintendo weren't on good terms as well. Or both).
Shadow?

Well, tomorrow for my last day of the school year (one more year to go) aside from finals, I'm bringing my Wii U to my CAD class (vocational) and we're gonna just play Smash Bros for Wii U.
Have you guys ever played any Smash Bros game at your school? (Not counting College Dorms.)
