I never up-tilt with Mario when I grab...I always throw them behind me.
In one part because I think it's stronger than forward throwing, and in another part because I like him showcasing his Super Mario 64 Bowser fling.
Wish he would say, "So long-e, Bowser!" every time he does it with Bowser. ;p
Or substitute Bowser's name with whoever he's throwing.

I think the line is actually "So long, King Bowser!"- Aside from the famed intro line for Super Mario 64 and a smattering of actual Italian snuck in as pseudo-Simlish in some of the RPGs, Mario's accent isn't really very prominent.
But that's neither here nor there.
Really? 'Cause I've seen so few Falcons online that he's on my danger list with Shulk and Olimar and Greninja- In my experience only truly expert players seem to use those four.

I sure said that!I should probably play For Glory some more. Then again, last time I played it was pretty stress-inducing and I wouldn't be able to tell you why.
I just don't like input lag very much, myself.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI seem to have two major problems right now that could probably be fixed:
How do I airdodge effectively?
Is there any way I can stop hitting B to early when trying to counter (And thus doing Shield Breaker by accident)?
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonShulks are very common sights in FG as well, if to a lesser extent than birdbrain.
For the first one, it mostly boils down to getting a feel on lining up your opponent's movement with your own and avoiding the ensuing attack. Sorta like Counter, only far safer and more mobile.
Do you live in an alternate dimension where you see a whole bunch of Olimars in FG?
Because he's a character I almost never see, and I have no idea how to fight as him or against him.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Marth dittos tend to be rather frustrating for both Marth players, since tipper hits can take away what little advantage you may scrape, you want to try to get tippers in while avoiding their tippers.
(This by the way, in addition to the fact that Marth's attacks are generally safe on block, is why Marth is a nightmare for Lucina players, who has a comparable defensive game coupled with a worse offensive game due to lack of tippers and safety on block.)

The little pencil icon right under your character's portrait on the character select screen. Of note, control schemes are tied directly to the name you use.
I'd recommend inputting names before hopping on For Glory. They take a little bit of time to type.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaAnd I guess Lucina is a nightmare for Marth noobs like me, because she doesn't have to worry about getting tippers.
Seriously, the only other time in Smash 4 where I was more furious than my match against that Falcon guy was a couple of matches before, where I played a Lucina who totally got me. " This is the Hero King? " URRRRAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!! ASDFGHJKLQWW!!!
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonThen I will play as Female!Robin. crossplaying for the win!
The thing that rubbed it in was how ridiculously one-side the fight with the Lucina was.

Also more rage incoming.
I played one of those Captain Falcon players who thinks he's the shit. He beat me the first game, naturally, because I suck. And then for the second game he switched to Marth, and I'm pretty sure it was just to show off how much better he was than me. I successfully countered a Smash attack when we were both at about 100%. He got KO'ed, I taunted, because I thought the situation called for it. He then K Oed me, and did the exact same taunt. This made me angry beyond belief. I eventually won by a hair (tippered Shield Breaker while he was a split second from unleashing a smash attack).
I was absolutely furious.
Anyway, I learned that if you are grabbed by a Mario, start spamming Counter, because they always start up-tilting.
For some reason when I do the input for Counter about 60% of the time it does Shield Breaker instead.
End of rage.
