That's one feature length.
Finally got a Pac-Man Amiibo, and Silver Mario to boot. Now to find out if it's possible to get a Metal Cap Equipment(which starts you off as Metal temporarily). I know you can start with multiple items, but I'm guessing status effects might not be the case, especially transformation ones.
That said, it'll be my Mario Party 10 Amiibo if not. Still awesome, since he pretty much is Metal Mario. Even the Gamestop employee who I talked to when I bought it loved the idea.
Shadow?Prediction and not spamming it.
Some opponents will pick up on your counter habit, others won't.
Remember: grabs can't be countered! Use that if your opponent spams them!
And if you get caught in a rapid attack, try spamming the move, depending on the situation it might trigger.
I find counters landing more often in free for alls, possibly due to everyone paying attention to three opponents at once.

Specifically, try to take note of any patterns and habits that the opponent uses for offense, and see if you can manage a Counter in the middle of it and throw the strategy off.
I'd strongly advise that you don't get as attached to it as your post is suggesting, though; Counters themselves are remarkably easy to read and ruin - especially if the user is already in an unfavorable situation that would theoretically demand one - and for certain characters (Marth included, I believe) you still have to put up with a slight yet very noticeable and very vulnerable delay before the counter even functions as an actual counter.

...Counters can't be grabbed.
Where do you get that from? It's the number one way to take them out when done on the ground if you want something done fast and reliably.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyCounters can't be grabbed until invincibility frames wear off, which pretty much happens a whole second later.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Counters don't have invincibility frames to begin with; they absorb attacks as opposed to ignoring them.
Regardless, claiming that a grab only works after the counter wears off is a pretty pointless statement when the move is completely vulnerable to virtually anything for the length of a whole second.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyThe only counter I can think that can stop grabs is Lucario's Double Team, which is unique in that for the first split second of it being active, he can't be grabbed. On the bright side though, it's pretty hard not to attempt a grab immediately after and get him if you missed that first time.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorGreninja has the best mobility in the game (kinda tied with ZSS) and hits like a heavyweight =V
