nothing can hurt you when you're Stoned

There's a threshold of how powerful of an attack Stone can take, otherwise it's completely bypassed.

In fact, 4 seems to have made it far more vulnerable if anything.

The potential of Kirby's copy ability is naturally based on who your opponent is. In a Kirby vs Villager match-up, my decently low-skilled friend beat pretty quality Villager, and the winning blow was copying the Pocket ability, stealing a Gyroid, and launching it up close. All depends on the move you end up taking.

The strongest attack that can hurt 0% Stone Kirby is from Bowser, Dedede, and Ganondorf...his Stone defense gets weaker the more damage he has.

I had no idea his stone could be broken at all, I thought you just had to wait it out. I remember fighting against a Kirby who lacked the knowledge of two important facts: Kirby can't just say in Stone forever (which is the weirdest of the two mistakes); and King Dedede can hold his Jet Hammer indefinitely.

I guess some people gotta learn eventually how specials work.

As a Shulk main, matches against Kirbys get interesting. Either they know what they're doing and the match becomes a constant game of what Art will be pulled next, or me and my low percentages laugh while they activate Monado Smash.

I think that if you're going to steal a copy ability you probably wouldn't be wanting to remove it anyway.

[up] Point. I mostly play one-on-one so I didn't even consider it.

Also

I'm fairly confident that Greninja is a Melee character stuck in Sm4sh's engine because the stuff he can do borders on Melee levels of silly tongue

Taking advantage of enemy Kirby's stone spam can be fun, I had one FG opponent who kept switching out as soon as he landed. In two matches I got three kills from up-Substituting and hitting him while he was stuck transforming back. tongue

[up][up] I'll have to take your word for it. I honestly can't remember how any of the older Smash games played.

[up][up]Pretty much this. Or try and predict when they'll leave stone form and go for an attack.

I typically only use Stone when I'm falling through airborne opponents or into a dogpile. You break out of it either in the air or you've knocked enough of them away.
