...That's what many players do competitively as well, actually.

The way the dog is curled up reminds me a lot of the HAL logo

Kind of a shame that Link is excluded from the Ganon cuddles.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI somehow find level 9s harder to deal with than decent human players... I guess I just kind of insist on trying to play against them as if they were humans instead of learning to exploit their AI. But I also feel like they tend to be more random, like it's a coin toss what the game decides to do at any given moment, whereas a decent human around my skill level tends to choose courses of action that make sense, which also means that I can anticipate them. ... And of course, the randomness makes it infinitely more frustrating. Which is why I just stopped even attempting single-player stuff pretty early on.
So hey after a an argument started by a frustrated Greninja main saying that the character sucks people actually brought me up as evidence the character is good because I have a Gold rank there right now and I was even called a professional there.
I even posted just to say that I was not a pro and I was literally told "Yes you are" and that my Greninja was godlike and it's been more than 2 months since I last played the guy who said that.
I don't even.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyQuick question. I've been out of Smash for a few months, so...How long did it take people to get truly pissed off at Diddy Kong?
He was fairly quiet for the first few months. It's honestly a little interesting, and a prime example of how a metagame is ever changing.
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Once "hoo-hah" reached meme status, whenever that was. Diddy was already heavily hyped up since he was in a high tier in Brawl, but once people were going steady in tourneys with him and getting results, it really picked up. Definitely there were times on For Glory where, aside from a lot of Captain Falcons, you had that usual Diddy come in... usually strutting exactly one combo and not much else, granted.
I haven't studied any recent tier list yet but I've been seeing a lot of Villagers (well, continuing to see, that is) and Yoshis. The latter isn't too hard to compete against, since a lot of folks really play up their minor ability to use egg toss effectively, but Villagers have so much up their pockets that it's really hard to do anything against them, since they're practically playing an entirely different game. Like if you're playing a fighting game against someone who's playing a connect three puzzler, and they're winning.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -Wanderlustwarrior

Thank goodness they don't, they'd be really hard to take down.
