Megaman's amiibo is taller than he is in the game.
And Bowser is REALLY heavy. Even heavier than Donkey Kong. Somehow I wasn't expecting that.
I'm putting him on my team with Sonic and Megaman. Eventually I'm going to swap him out for Pacman and put him on a team with Ganondorf and...Dedede? Or Mewtwo. I prefer a Mewtwo amiibo, and if I get Dedede then I'm going to feel compelled to get Meta Knight too, and then Kirby Rainbow Curse.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayI now only have to complete 9.0 with Luigi, Mr. Game & Watch, Duck Hunt, and Pit. Except, I just finished 9.0 as Robin, but it still says that I only did it on 8.7! What the heck!?
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardYour score was higher at 8.7 than at 9.0. You can see the highest difficulty you've gone through with a character on the intensity screen, on the top bar.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Well then, I must try for a higher score! All must have a high score in 9.0! Also, that means I already cleared it at 9.0, because that's where the slider thing was at. I feel like a doofus now.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardClassic has a slightly obfuscated scoring system based primarily on number of KOs and amount of damage dealt, with time playing a small role as well. Penalties are incurred to a stage score if you lose one of your two stocks, too, but at least taking damage doesn't actually hurt anything.
I sure said that!Well then, I'm an even BIGGER doofus now, I let myself get killed at least once a match while hanging back and letting the computers fight it out.

Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardSo I got to play Smash 64 for about twenty minutes in class today and I gotta say, it's pretty hard to play after all these newer games. And so many of the Smash attacks are weird. It's been so long since I last played it.

There it actually sounds like he's saying "FALCON...PUNCH!" whereas in subsequent games he says "FALCOAN...PAAAWWWNCH!!!" For that reason, I didn't consider the possibility that he's voiced by a Japanese man. Man, the Early-Installment Weirdness...
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.I think Fox may have been where Bowser learned the dropkick, since that's Fox's F-Smash in 64.
In other news, Classic has been cleared with all characters on 9.0. Now all I have to do is collect the last few Custom Moves and I will truly be free to enjoy Smash.

x4 Well, Captain Falcon's voice clips in 4 are recycled from Brawl, whose own clips, in turn, were recycled from Melee to an extent. I say that because in Brawl, he said "Show me your moves!" like in 64, whereas in Melee the line was noticeably higher pitched. On another note, "COME AWN!" and "BLUUUUEE FALCON!" weren't newly recorded at all—they were lost clips
in Melee, suggesting that Final Smashes were considered for development in that game.

Clones huh... how about that Mewtwo? And that Solid Snake?
