As mentioned right on the very first post of last page, it's a clone.
While there have been numerous points given as to why the actual Ridley is not going to be playable (at least not under Sakurai's watch), the former Furby isn't one of them.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI've decided that in my quest to collect every special move in the game, I will also try to complete Classic on 9.0 with every character. The character I see myself having the most trouble with in this self imposed challenge is Meta Knight.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardNo, it'll be Olimar.
I've found that clearing 9.0 mostly comes down to how generous the game feels with placing three or fewer trophies on a space. The second you have four or more opponents is the one when the game drops all pretense and Gang Up on the Human is in even fuller effect than normal. Equipment is nearly mandatory for anyone who isn't a heavyweight, too- Ive managed to clear 9.0 without customs only as Charizard. Rock Smash is still the boss killer it was in Brawl.
I sure said that!I actually just did it as Olimar.
While doing my Olimar run, I found out that Greninja's Smash attacks can kill blue Pikmin, which is weird.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI did it as Shulk. Monado Buster tears through bosses (as long as you don't get hit), and Monado Shield is a godsend when stuff gets too heated. Add his up smash and a powerful counter and he can handle himself quite well.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Then I'm going to use Buster on Master Beast. That punk of a boss is always the hardest part for me.
I guess it makes sense if I actually think about it.

Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI managed to no-Custom 9.0 with Mr. Game & Watch.
He's my very best, and I plan on no-stock-loss 9.0 with him.
I've made it up to the final battle, but... I've never beaten that on 9.0 without losing a stock. ^^;
And there's no way to practice without getting back to it on 9.0.
Any tips? Even if it's just practice on lower difficulties?
It's probably just for show as well, but powerful electric attacks like Thunder have a sort of delayed launch. I dunno if that's important or not though.
