Halo's updates probably don't change the way a character would get hit and such.
Imagine that a characters weight gets reduced and how Smash handles replays.
All of a sudden the "replay" would have a character get KO'd a lot sooner than the original fight, but all the fighters would be acting like they were still there, attacking thin air. And then it would snowball from there with the AI trying to replicate the thing based off of button inputs at specific times, but them having different results since a character is suddenly not in play anymore.
Though I still think it's bullshit that we can't view older version replays.

Moved handles because mehThe day that Sakurai says "That's it. Smash 4 is perfect. I'm outta here." Will be the day where we can finally think freely about our replays.
@Enlong: Also worth the lower quality video, if you ask me. Although there was another feature that I want in the next update, but I forget what it was...

Yeah, letting us convert older replays into video files would fix a lot of things. It would remove being able to zoom and angle the camera and taking snapshots, but that's a loss we all can deal with.
Though they'd probably wouldn't let you upload them either, if it's true that the servers would need beefed up for it.
Moved handles because mehYeah, those things will make your 3DS much less portable. And I have no idea if they are compatible with a N 3 DS or not. Or an XL. Or if it's XL only.
Excuse me Spidey, but why is there an ant on your chest?

Moved handles because mehFinally used that $100 Amazon gift card I had from several Christmases ago, so now I have money to buy more amiibos!
But Mother's Day is coming up, and I still need to get Dad something for his birthday...
I still hate money.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayThat... Doesn't really make any sense.
I mean, unless you're fighting a For Glory Little Mac. Then you probably can win by doing nothing while they throw themselves off the ledge with Jolt Haymaker
God forbid it ever gets this bad, though.
Well there's a reason that match is the "losers semis".
Also, did anyone else catch Otherworld playing in the background? That just made me remember I was planning on listening to it yesterday.
Also, yes, that match was so dull for the 2 minutes I watched it that I could hear the subtle bgm and realize it came from a different game entirely.
So, I went to a convention today, and it had a Smash Bros Amiibo tournament. It was epic, and the one Diddy Kong was killed during the second match.
The finale was the most awesome though. It was Samus VS Zero Suit Samus.
And Samus won. Never expected to see that happen.

In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.Hey, is there anyone who had a particular character who they had a LOT of trouble clearing Classic or All Star with in 4?
Even on a relatively low difficulty (6.4) in Classic (3DS), I had a little bit of trouble clearing it with Zelda and A LOT of trouble clearing it with Sheik, though I can attribute that to unfamiliarity with the character (I literally just had my most memorable SD in all of my Smash days when I accidentally shot off the stage with Sheik's Down-A aerial right when I started the Master Hand/Crazy Hand match.)
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"The problem is, everything you use has some sort of counterattack that's going to hurt. A lot.
I suppose I could stop playing with heavy characters that have long, obvious wind ups, but that's not nearly as fun. I'd much rather spend all my smash bros time setting aMiibos on each other and seeing who becomes the deadliest. For some reason, that's Peach at the moment.
Counters/reflects are mostly about prediction rather than reaction in this game (especially online). All you'd really have to do is learn how to bait them out.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI don't like counters. I like reflects though.
Whew, I finally got the 300000 gold challenge and the all custom moves challenge (spent about 20000 of that gold on Trophy Rush—all other modes take too long).
So four challenges left on Wii U, but i could probably use three of those unused hammers on the challenges that aren't no-lives-lost 9.0 Classic...BUT I SAID I'D NEVER DO THAT.
Mewtwo still doesn't have any customs, but at least he's not part of the challenge. That's helpful. I still want more moves for him though. I want that vault of Mewtwo alts.

I remember that time... Don't worry, just play through a few times and you'll learn where everything is, since it's exactly the same literally every time.
But some tips for the now - firstly, never grab the heart until after you smash the first orb, you'll be able to survive any hits if you fly to the right, as there's no Danger Zones.
Secondly, the very last thing with a sword and shield (off of that Smash Run enemy from the Legend of Zelda) can be killed if you turn around once you spawn it, it's AI will cause it to explode on the giant pool of Danger Zone between you and it, sometimes it literally just walks into it.

You can also grab them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they're called Stalfos.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser Charizard

Lame...how does Halo do it? I know you can speed up and slow down the video while you can fly the camera through the action in that series, but Smash only happens in one plane.
Eh, well at least you don't have to pay for online. Even if Smash is still laggier...
But it's the principle of the thing...
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay
