And Shulk should be one inch shorter than Little Mac. You can see how that turned out.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Remember: Kirby is the size of a quarter, and Olimar is even smaller. (EDIT: or wait, is Olimar the size of a quarter? How big is Kirby? I'm not up on my Nintendo size lore)
In the world of Smash Bros, size matters not. Judge them by their size, do you?

Little Mac is slouching though, we don't see him standing upright in the game so we can't tell if he's actually taller than Shulk or not.
Same thing with Greninja. If you use his D-Air and pause at the right moment, then you'll see that he's actually taller than Rosalina.

Kirby is 8 inches, and Olimar is around 1 inch.
Anyway, it's reasonable to scale up small characters, but it's funny to nitpick on the regular sized ones. At least Rosalina is still ridiculously tall.
You sure that's not his stretched "feet" adding a few centimeters?

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Sorry to bring this up again, but I just couldn't help myself.
I'm not gonna take any sides on the Male Robin vs. Female debate, but lemme at least point some things out.
The fact that the Robin trailer showed both Male and Female appearances when Villager's and WFT's trailers didn't isn't an indicator on which one is the "more important", it's just that it was the first character with alts showed after alts were confirmed, as characters who weren't Wario having model-changing alts were still a secret surprise. This can be supported as the first model change costume revealed - Male WFT - was shown on Halloween, a holiday based almost entirely on costumes and dress up. They most likely figured to go ahead and reveal Female Robin's alt since costumes were already known info.
There's also the web page; every other character's model-change alts that aren't Mac's or Wario's are considered different characters in their own games <the 8 Villagers, Female and Male WFT, Jr. and the Koopalings, Olimar and Alph, Miis>. However, the 2 Robins in-universe are literally the same person split between 2 genders <well, in theory, anyway>, which is why both have their official renders featured on the Smash Bros. website.
That said, I go by what the actual defaults are by the game's CSS and by trailers, so the "primary" alts to me are red shirt Male Villager, Female WFT and Male Robin.
Incidentally, I consider Jr. the primary Clown Car character, as the Final Smash is Shadow Mario, something only Jr. has done until now, rather than a universal ability all/any of them have used.

Guys. Hey guys. Hey. Hey guys.
What do you call a game that's a mix of Smash Bros, a point-and-click adventure game, and an RPG?
"We're home, Chewie."I'd take out the point-and-click, but I never mind gaining experience points if it makes me fight better.
Speaking of heights from whenever, I rediscover this chart.
The tiniest fighters are most suspect. I use Mario as the standard. I know Olimar is tiny, but Kirby looks way too small. All of the smaller fighters look like they could be a little bigger...
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay![]()
King Dedede is essentially the Excadrill of the Nintendoverse. He's a powerhouse, but a Pint-Sized Powerhouse.
Well, she is basically God in her home universe.

Why is "platformer appearances" supposed to be an advantage (well I'm not even sure how it can be called that since it's not even anything they can be said to hold over him, but w/e)? The primary way that most Mario characters get their personalities and capabilities rounded out is through spin-offs - hence Waluigi being such a consistently popular character for what he is - and I don't think it needs to be said how heavily Jr outranks them in that regard.
I'll also note that Jr's design is much more revamped than what you're suggesting (though it is a common mistake to make), especially when they were still using the comparatively ugly Baby Bowser design for the "Koopa Kid" in the GC Mario Party games.
