But has Ganondorf ever used brawling other than as a minor mix-in with his normal fighting styles? Sorry, but the in-character argument fails here.
That said, I voted already for a character that has practically no chance, yet more than getting a complete moveset change for an already existing playable character in this particular iteration of Smash. And likely any game to come. I can't see Ganondorf ever getting a super overhaul of a moveset to the point his original version doesn't exist Smash-wise. Sakurai's never done it once, and he has reason to never bother(it alienates previous players). I'm okay with that logic since he still updates characters a decent amount anyway, to make them feel a little different, making them easy to adjust to.
I'm not asking him to be changed, I'm asking him to be a completely separate character. So that you Falcondorf fans can still have him.

Would his neutral B be similar to Dedede's Gordo Throw? I think that's the closest we have to a Dead Man's Volley-type attack as of now.
Toon Marth would be the poorly drawn, pantsless Marth from FE1 right?

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Toon Mario and toon Luigi would be the ones from Hotel Mario.
... Which would give us Toon Koopas as well.
Moved handles because mehAGAIN: Ganondorf doesn't need to be overhauled. Just give us another Ganondorf (same model) that uses the sword for normals. Why ignore this?
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.I dunno; something feels weird about making a new character that's actually the same character but with a different fighting style.
Then again, Samus exists, so meh. What do I know?
"We're home, Chewie."Honestly, if Nintendo decided to change Ganondorf by giving him more sword attacks, then they can just patch these onto him. There's no need to have another Ganondorf who for all intents and purposes is identical to the original with the only difference from the original is slightly different attacks.

"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"Reflecting projectiles is just so satisfying to pull off! I had a rather...poetic set of matches online. First game, he was Megaman. Took first stock by reflecting his Smash attack back at him. Last game, he was Samus. I took his last stock by doing the exact same with the Charge Beam.

There's Dr. Mario. He doesn't even have a unique moveset from Mario (aside from moving a down air back to down special).
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. So? Wouldn't a Sword Ganondorf just have his own moveset? He'd be considered a different character entirely.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. While I'm not against the idea, keep in mind that you're proposing that, for the one solitary instance that the players can directly impact who can be put into Super Smash Bros. (and through paid DLC at that), we should just pick Literally Ganondorf w/Swords.
I'd honestly just hold out for the possibility that he finally gets a HW-esque revamp in the next installment. It's not like Sakurai's in the best of conditions to keep forcing the Falcondorf standard in the years to come anyway.

Did Peach bake that cake? Mario probably won't like Peach baking a cake for anyone else...
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!
