I think they were trying to go for a contrast. A Bronze Sword is the weakest sword (outside of the gimmicky joke weapons) while the Levin Sword, while not the strongest, is pretty up there and filled with magicy goodness.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Not really. The generic sorts of weapons don't get fancy-looking until you get to the Killer and Silver weapons, with bronze weapons looking more like worktools and iron and silver being pretty basic designs. Levin Swords, meanwhile, are shaped like lightning bolts, a design that's fairly unusual even by the standards of high-ranked weapons, beaten out only by some of the Regalia.

I sure said that! Also, fun trivia: Awakening considers the Bolt Axe, the axe equivalent of the Levin Sword, to be a Regalia.
And just the Bolt Axe. The Levin Sword and Shockstick are apparently among the "standard" set of weapons.

Can anyone here vote for a Sword Ganondorf for Smash, at least just once? I've been trying to spread the word so that people who want a more canon moveset can regain hope even if Falcondorf's still here.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.
But if it's literally the same character model, the developers won't have to work on it as much.
It could even be an addon to the current Ganondorf assuming that the 3DS's problem with transforming characters is loading character models on the fly and not just loading moveset data.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Eh, I got no reason to want regular Ganondorf changed. Literally no reason to vote for it. Toon Ganondorf with a double sword mechanic(something that's not completely done as a full moveset, as Pit/Dark Pit only do it for a select amount of attacks. It's not their biggest thing at all. The other factor is is the double sword is not the main focus either. I'd like it where there isn't a bow in the way of making it a true dual-sword moveset. They still give the feeling of it to a degree, but I think double Katanas would be far more different overall if Toon Ganondorf did it).
That said, I voted already for a character that has practically no chance, yet more than getting a complete moveset change for an already existing playable character in this particular iteration of Smash. And likely any game to come. I can't see Ganondorf ever getting a super overhaul of a moveset to the point his original version doesn't exist Smash-wise. Sakurai's never done it once, and he has reason to never bother(it alienates previous players). I'm okay with that logic since he still updates characters a decent amount anyway, to make them feel a little different, making them easy to adjust to.
Shadow?

Do you see how fast those weapons get worn out? Bronze is cheapest and most durablenote , hence why they carry a bunch.
Moved handles because meh
