Actually, Mewtwo will be one of my mains.
Anyone else wish All Star Mode had some random variances in it?
Like, maybe sometimes Olimar would be Alph instead, and show up alongside Shulk and the others in the last/first stage.
Or perhaps Bowser Jr. would use one of the other Koopaling costumes and show up with NES-era characters.
Or if Ganondorf could show up either with Sheik or with Link, as you could make a case for him (or at least Ganon, who is him) orginating in Zelda 1.
I have a message from another time...Well, the aesthetic costumes do come up. Robin and Wii Fit Trainer have a chance of being their opposite-gender versions, Olimar is sometimes Alph, Little Mac is sometimes a wireframe, and Bowser Jr. and Villager have a chance of using any of their 8 costumes.
Doesn't affect their placement, though.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Alternate costumes showing up is part of the mode. Nothing weird there.
Changing the order of the characters on the other hand, never. Ganondorf always shows up with Shiek, and Link shows up with the other NES folks.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."64: Yoshi (Honestly...)
Melee: Mewtwo (What?!)
Brawl: Lucario (Again...)
My other mains in 4 include the Villager (I'd probably get arrested...), Shulk (I'm a straight guy), Robin (at least you can be female), and Pac Man (What even....)
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"I'm surprised Villager's age is rarely brought up. The trophy description for the male Villager describes him as a "young man," yet the one for the female Villager just describes her as a "girl." Not to mention, Villager comes from a world where he's the only human in a town full of animals, so it's not that hard (at least, for me) to believe that he's of a young age.
I guess Villager's age is whatever you want it to be—he's an avatar, so he might as well be your age. After all, we haven't seen Villagers with discernible age differences. But I guess Sakurai considers him a kid since he's often grouped together with the likes of Ness and Toon Link.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.A funny thing about the word "girl"; Not everybody uses it to specifically mean underage females(many could just use it to mean simply young, like a young adult, before 40, etc.). The characters in Animal Crossing are all implied to be 18 or over(or whatever the proper age would be to get out of the house and make your own life. While it's cultural dependent, 18 is that time more or less these days)
It's obvious they're adults by the game's actual story, just having a different art direction.
Shadow?I'm married to:
- Mega Man: THE FUCK?
- Sonic: Pretty sure he doesn't run that way either
- Fox: If only I were gay
- Captain Falcon: See Fox
- Lucina: YES!
- Shulk: See Captain Falcon
- Dark Pit: Uh...
- Mii Brawler: Depends on the Mii...unless the Mii is Mai because I don't want Zuko to kill me...

Married to Sonic...
