Pichu was a clone (though I don't know how easy it was to transfer the movement data since their anatomy is pretty different), Luma is a weapon and ROB has, like, arms and a movable head and stuff. BD's got Kirby-like anatomy and Kirby's already kinda pushing the limits of how much you can do with that. With a mouth. And then there's Jigglypuff, too.
In any case the emoting thing was just one minor point I made to demonstrate how little there is to the character that they could be doing which isn't already being done. But honestly, even if someone showed me evidence of what an interesting and wonderful character BD is, I still would be against them already because there's already enough Dreamlanders present, and they do a perfectly good job of showing what the series is. If a Kirby character had to be added, the only thing I can think of that could still stand to be represented is its occasional dark and unsettling moments, but I don't think 0² is going to be playable anytime soon.

Do you think 02's inclusion in the game would raise its rating to T? I know Dream Land 3 only became E10+ because of Zero ripping out its eyeball at the end.

Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.
x6: Well, alright then. I'd still like to see him eventually, bit maybe he needs a few more appearances to really establish himself in the Kirby universe.
Anyways, I used my votes on Quote(same reasons as Fawriel), Fawful(he's hilarious and BIS is one of my favorite Mario games), and Impa(she's the last of the major Zelda characters and Hyrule Warriors guarantees she won't be a Shiek clone).
I didn't even know there was a grid option in the first place. I tried to make a stage based on 8-bit Mega Man's head, while drawing "pixels" freehand. <_<
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.I haven't used the stage builder much, but I plan to get around to it later on, since it's a lot more robust in this game than in Brawl. Making ledges was kind of annoying (they never seemed to appear no matter how pointed and angular I made the ledge) but I'm not sure if I was using the grid, so hopefully that would help.
Also, a bit late, but I really would like Isaac in Smash. If you want to simplify him, just give him a moveset based on his Lord class line (just Venus Djinn), and he has the Quake, Spire, and Ragnarok psynergy, as well as Move and maybe draw from other classes for Growth, Planet Diver, Cutting Edge, and similar psynergy. Final Smash could be Judgment as the strongest summon.

I sure said that!Speaking as someone who has yet to touch Golden Sun, couldn't that just as easily be addressed the same way as Shulk's Monado boosts?

Freaking Pichu no longer is.
I have a message from another time...
