The 3DS defaults are perfectly fine, in my experience. You do need to unlearn analog control for that version, since actually tapping the Circle Pad the why you can with an analog stick will hurt it, but once you get it down it's pretty good.
Of course, I played Kid Icarus Uprising before I played Smash 3DS, so I definitely had a headstart on mastering tapping-without-tapping on the Circle Pad.
I sure said that!Woah... That looks so much useful, but it would require far more dexterity than what I can muster. Would be nice to see that technique evolve with the more skilled players.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."![]()
Isn't it win rate in tournaments or whatever, not usage? Pure usage is more of Smogon's thing.
Then again I'm more of a casual Smash player who appreciates the competitive side, but I don't participate because I suck.

Some of the pros and cons of each cuistom move amuses me in that EVO list.
The pros for The 'Puff's alternate Down Specials are 'it's not Rest'. And On-Fire Hydrant is listed as an awful and not awful pun.

I am used to playing on Gamecube controller where I can grab and shield at same time without problems. I really hate how they arrange the shield and grab into separate controls.
"Mai waifu."Once I establish a good, patient, and analytical defensive game, I will never lose to Shulk players on For Glory who use literally nothing but Fair and Nair! Then I will drop kick him into infinity!

I also had a funny ending to a match on Pyrosphere last night:
I was Mega Man, and the CPU opponents were Kirby, Duck Hunt, and Villager. How it ended: An unaligned Ridley KO'ed Kirby and Duck Hunt (Villager was already out by the time this happened), giving me the match. I said out loud to myself "winner: Ridley".
A similar thing happened on "Mushroom Kingdom U", but with me as Pit and the CPU opponents as Mario, Game and Watch, and Charizard. It ended with Nabbit grabbing Mario and KO'ing him that way, making Charizard win. I also said "winner: Nabbit".

AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!@Great T: I took a look at the list, and I'm at least happy that my Captain Falcon and Link loadout is legal, which is more than what I can say for Toon Link and Marth.
However, I'm excited to start watching the tournament, whether on Twitch or You Tube. I have the feeling that custom moves are gonna make this the biggest EVO yet.
I discovered something really fun and stupid in For Glory the other day. I was facing a Mega Man while I was Charizard and my opponent really loved his special moves, so I decided it was time to experiment. I tricked him into using Crash Bomb, I grabbed him, used Up Throw, and while Charizard was flying up the bomb kept switching between us until it exploded while we were off the top of the screen and K Oed us both at the exact same time. Needless to say, he eased up off the B button after that.
A few days before that, I got a Sudden Death by using Bowsercide in 1-on-1 against a Fox.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! Why thank you. I even have the perfect one for when he's released!

Can anyone tell me of a control setup that is ideal for someone with big hands and doesn't to destroy their 3DS?
