x6 You're thinking stage 4. Stage 3 is Mega Man through Captain Falcon.
Jungle Hijinx is my new favorite stage. So much fun.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI just cleared Classic on 9.0 as plain old Mario without losing a life...in the 3DS version.
Do you guys think I'll have as much luck in the Wii U version?
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. Then it would be competing with Luminose City.
Of course this issue would just as easily be avoided if they drew a stage from a game that wasn't main series, but that would just be silly

Yes, it was very nice to see fundamentally OG Pokemon stage #3 make it in as a leftover stage on the Wii U.
What's everyone else's opinion on 8-player Smash? So far, I've only ended up in matches with more than the standard 4 players while running through Classic, and most of the time I've found it just a bit too chaotic.
I mean, I like a bit of chaos in my Smash games. But at the same time, I'd like to be able to look at the screen and be able to know things like where I am and what the hell's going on.
I never had any real issue with visibility when I played through it (and regardless, everybody else counteracted it by assigning names to their slots), though I suppose it's worth mentioning that all players went out of their way to avoid picking any of the more unreasonable stages like Offensive Great Cave.
Other than that, at least it functions as an easy way to get people at gatherings occupied with something.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyThat would imply people wanted a Yoshi's Story stage or if Nintendo remembers the game exists.
I mean, Yoshi's Island gets a sequel every now and then, and we got new Yoshi on the horizon (...eventually) but Yoshi's Story is pretty much neglected, which is a shame, because I liked its non-baby escorting and its story book and patched together ascetic.
I think the only reason its memory has lasted as long as it has is due to Smash having a stage representing it.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Wooly World is pretty much a Yoshi Story Spiritual Successor though.
Speaking of spiritual successors, I'd be happy to see Prince Fluff make some sort of appearance in Wooly World.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Random thought: I think Wario and Waluigi are French.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI like 8-player Smash as a gimmick well enough, though Classic Mode being almost nothing but 5-to-8 entry matches gets more than a little tiresome, especially when the Free-for-Alls are prime examples of Gang Up on the Human.
I sure said that!Once again showing that the problem isn't with SSB 4 as a whole, but with its singleplayer mode.
Seriously, Classic, All-Star, Special Orders, and Event Match don't have any real challenge, just some Fake Difficulty by putting you against team after team (Or pseudo-team, in Classic's case) that can exploit the increased hitstun to trap you in touch of death combos. One on one, they stand absolutely no chance even on the hardest settings.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
