@communication in Smash: I've had people compliment me using the names. Maybe try that?

Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardThe 1.0.5 patch didn't exactly nerf Greninja when all it did was remove something nobody really used.
Other than that only the 1.0.4 patch truly nerfed Greninja. Also, that one was the only balance patch. 1.0.5 was a bugfix.

Okay, guys, I think I have a serious problem. The control stick on my Game Pad can barely function whenever I try to press up, which is weird because it works just fine when I choose a fighter. No longer will I short hop once I quickly tap up on the stick. It's even worse online, when pressing up only works 50% of the time and my ability to short hop is essentially gone. I developed a similar problem on the 3DS where my right trigger seems busted and shielding only works 50% of the time, but here I can't even jump or recover.
As much as it pains for me to say this, maybe it's best that I should take a break from Smash?
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Just assign jumping to a button or something. The game already murdered my pad's cover and the functionality of the L button, and I'm still doing fine.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyJumping is already mapped to the X and Y buttons, but I'll admit that I'm not too used to jumping that way.
I guess I wouldn't mind trying to adapt, but I still can't use a fighter's third jump as effectively anymore. That, and no more Off-TV Play for me.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Speaking of the game pad, why doesn't the game have the option use of the touchscreen to navigate menus? I mean, it's not critical to the game in any meaning of the word, but you'd think the big, colorful buttons would lend themselves well for the game pad's touchscreen.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."
I have no idea. I guess Sakurai didn't expect many of the players to use the Game Pad. Either that, or so much time was focused on making the game accessible with just about every possible controller.
Another thing: is it me, or is a successful F.L.U.D.D. gimp with Mario harder to pull off than a successful Rest landing with Jigglypuff? I suppose it depends on the character, though.

I'm pretty sure he did get more than one nerf. The 3DS got multiple balance patches that affected Greninja. Wii U got less patches overall.
