I'm still trying to get any Badges that heal me to make that event less than stupid to go against.
And I think it's because most scenarios that they can come up with don't include "choose any character". The problem with Event Matches is that it's not that easy coming up with scenarios in general, even moreso ones that don't include a planned protagonist to make the lore fun.
When you have over 150 event matches, it gets a little harder not scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Shadow?I beat all the events and got all of the event rewards months ago. It's just a matter of diligence, getting into the groove, learning computer habits and a pinch of luck.
All I have to do now is a no-death 9.0 Classic run, Mario's 20 Crazy Orders which tests my confidence as a Mario mainer, getting all of the hats, getting 300k gold, getting 450000 on the third Target Blast, and something else...
But I've been putting my free time into Hyrule Warriors, so I'm still waiting for my Mewtwo and Miiverse before getting back to Smash.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayMaybe it's because I haven't played For Glory in a while, but I've never encountered a Diddy who was able to "HOO-HAH" me.
In fact, most of the Diddys I've encountered were just plain awful.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Wendy: "Get 'er, dad!"
Zelda: "You should try escaping. It works sometimes."
Samus: "You should try growing a spine. It works sometimes."
Wii Fit Trainer: "I have a training regimen that should help you grow a spine!"
Robin: "Wait, shouldn't you be a queen by now or something?"
Lucina: "Stand up and fight! And not with your emotions, either, that's just disgraceful."
Rosalina: "Hi, mom."

Tsk tsk tsk. I like Peach's character. She's ditsy and often easy to capture, but that's who she is.
And I loved Super Princess Peach. My biggest problem with it was that it was just too easy to finish. Her use of emotions to fight was fun too. I wish she had more.
Like fear, disgust, or/and curiosity...those c could make for some interesting powers.

I found Kirby's Crazy Appetite to actually be incredibly fun. Yeah, it was hard, but for once it wasn't everything trying to beat your face in that made it hard.
