Keldeo.
I've learned how to deal with Palkia after playing plenty of games with an Interface Screw. The pushing-Pokemon are easy to deal with if you stay above or behind them, and Keldeo is pretty easy to dodge once you get the rhythm down. He'll fly to you and swing up his horn, so just dodge it when he swings and run away before doing it again.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayI have a question.
Shouldn't Shulk do no damage in Smash because he has The Monado I?
Is this a Jo Jo reference?I think that 8-player Smash would be pretty competitive too. It's two even teams of four or four even teams of two competing to make their team win.
And there are always the Omega stages for the people who don't like uneven placement.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayBut Smash!Shulk can still take damage from Shulk. So either it's because everyone is just non-lethally beating on each other until someone goes flying out of bounds, or these aren't the canon characters and are just living trophies/copies inspired by their source material that lets Smash!Shulk fight like he does.
I dunno, the same reason the other swordsmen don't hack everyone to pieces?
I feel like the only person who likes Smash Tour. I certainly understand why people don't like it, but for me, it's mainly because of, not in spite of, the randomness of the mode I enjoy it. There's a pretty large power gap between all of my friends, so not always having the exact same outcome to every battle is refreshing.
As an aside, I hate how 10 is the lowest you can set your stamina in Special Smash. My favorite thing to do in Brawl when playing with other people was reducing everyone's HP to 1 and doing a ton of free-for-alls, and it's disappointing I can't do it here.
"And kung fu is a terrible way to run a company" - alliteratorYou might as well ask how the hell are there 2 or more of the exact same Monados around. Rules are out of the window when that happens.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."@69370: I'd say Smash 4 appeals to both the casual and the hardcore crowds...to an extent.
I know it's a mere minority, but there are some Melee players who still find the game too slow and/or are turned off by the lack of wavedashing and L-canceling.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.I feel proud to be your first subscriber, Moon :v
Dang, even just watching you play is intimidating... I should definitely practice a lot more before I try to challenge you...
'Twas me who made the Smash Tour Appreciation Post, actually :v

"And kung fu is a terrible way to run a company" - alliteratorWavedashing in itself is just an approach option, and not necessary to win. L-Cancelling is far more useful, but you can still win without it. There's just no reason to avoid using it. One issue is they won't reduce lag for most moves as is, so many characters are left completely unbalanced because of this. L-Cancelling may have not been a well-made mechanic, but it was better than severe lag, and it's a very each tech to use(if not one of the easiest of all time, besides the more basic like Air Dodge, Rolling, and Side Stepping. It's up there with the difficult of Gliding and Ukemis. None of these are even remotely difficult, but require a little effort to do properly). Wavedashing definitely requires work.
@Anom: You're not the only one. I do like Smash Tour. I think Smash Run is better, mind you, but I do find it a fun mode. I won't pretend it has flaws, of course. But other than the challenges associated with it, and it sometimes being frustrating due to random bull, it's really not a bad mode to me. I wouldn't call it a "great mode" either. Just mediocre.

Quite a flashy finish there Moon. Definitely the coolest thing I've seen all day.
First off: Suscribed to you Full Moon. Gotta see dem skills.
Also, that kind of footage is the one that would usually tell me to stay the hell away from you. I'm still gonna play with you 'cause screw it, it's too much fun to face you.

Arceus isn't even using Judgement in this game so I just assume the Pokégod is going easy on the characters
