Aaah, figures my replays won't be compatible now.... Not that I had many, but I kind of wanted to keep my no damage match against a For Glory Shulk, just to remind myself I can't be completely terrible at Smash. Even if I just got lucky for that round.
Not that I've got a way to record it anywhere else...
You know: Thinking about it, when Viridi says that there are multiple Ganondorfs, she might not have been that off.
Let's review the facts:
Demise's hatred reincarnates into Ganondorf.
Ganondorf shows up in OoT first.
Ganondorf and OoT Link face off.
Timeline splits from this battle: Link loses in one, then he wins in another, which further splits into two when Link is sent back to live out his childhood. This gives us three timelines with one Ganondorf in each of them.
Downfall Timeline Ganondorf becomes Ganon and stays as Ganon and causes mayhem for the many Links on this timeline. He got fused with Yuga at some point, but survived Yuga's destruction.
Adult Timeline Ganondorf is sealed away, breaks out, and achieves near victory before Hyrule was sunk under water. He then searches for Zelda, then runs afoul of WW Link and is finally defeated.
Child Timeline Ganondorf never gets to the Sacred Realm and is slated for execution, but survives thanks to the Triforce of Power deciding he's a fitting candidate. He gets banished to the world of Twilight where he allies with Zant, then is defeated by TP Link for good. After this, another Ganondorf appears and is defeated and sealed away in Four Swords Adventures.
So there is technically four Ganondorfs.
And then there's HW Ganondorf who's basically a fifth Ganondorf in an alternate Zeldaverse where Hyrule's soldiers are at least somewhat competent (but still needs a hero).
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!The raiders are pretty competent, too.
And the Gorons are the forces faced in the Noob Bridge chapter of the game, too. The good guys are actually pretty competent overall in comparison to the usual.
I sure said that!Hylian Captain for SSB 5.
His attacks all involve screaming for help loud enough to burst people's eardrums, being swayed by Ghirahim's feminine wiles, or retreating from the battlefield.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! Can it be agreed that Speed and Jump are the One Stat to Rule Them All in Smash Run, Arms being a Dump Stat, and the Shield Degenerator flaw being a Minmaxer's Delight?
ASAB: All Sponsors Are Bad.Arms is sorta-kinda a Dump Stat, but it can be broken unto itself if the final battle involves items or if the character you're using has good throws.
I sure said that!Honestly, I didn't know the enemies could be grabbed until I learned that you can grab and throw the Swarm!Stalfos in Master Fortress. Doing so does wonders while trying to get through the stage, especially on 9.0.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.I tried adding Arms as a Dump Stat on the main page, but someone removed it saying that "it doesn't count as an example".
When around half the final battles have absolutely no items, and have little to no use for throwing, it is an example. What is wrong with some people?
ASAB: All Sponsors Are Bad.Part of the problem with trying to call anything a Dump Stat in Smash is that the stats are randomly distributed and thus you can't just pick and choose which go up and which do not.
I sure said that!If it is useful sometimes, is it really a dump stat?
Likewise, who says you can't throw them during Climb or Race? That can actually work if you have a long range grab like Link or Samus. Do that, and you send them very far, giving an immense lead. I agree it's not a good example, to be honest. It has to be far more useless than "You probably wouldn't go for it".
Smash Run doesn't have any real dump stats because every single one can be useful given which final battle exists. Your example is severely specific and doesn't apply all the time even during that specific case. So yeah, I agree it's not a proper example.
Now, if there was, say, an "Extra Life" item, and you got it during Race or Climb, that would be a true dump stat because it's completely useless. Not "sometimes".
Shadow?Thing is, the situations where Arms aren't useful are very prevalent. I'm not just talking about Race to the Finish and Climb, there's also Glorious Smash (no items), the amount of airborne/giant enemies, Target Practice (you can't grab a target), and Crystal Smash (same thing).
The only thing I would even consider Arms being useful whatsoever is Warp Smash (the power's still pretty good on Warp Stars to begin with) and against Octorks and Mettaurs (but grabbing them anyway should weaken them thoroughly enough if not killing them).
Face it, it pays to have the shuffle power in case this stat goes too high. From what I observed from Dump Stat, I imagine it's a stat that's constantly overshadowed and/or not useful enough to provide compared to everything else. Being objectively useless would have been an Up To Eleven example, right?

ASAB: All Sponsors Are Bad.It's still useful enough to not be an example. It works in many final battles and against quite a few enemies.
It may be the weakest of them, but it doesn't actually suck that much. Likewise, best to bring it to the Discussion if somebody removes it. Discuss it properly. Don't make an edit war out of it.
Shadow?Multiple Ganondorfs:
Is the Downfall timeline the one that contains the pre-OOT games and Link Between Worlds?
Child timeline is Wind Waker, Phantom of the Hourglass and Spirit Tracks
And I know adult timeline is TP and Four Swords.
Where does Link's Awakening fit into this? Is it a pre-OOT game like Skyward Sword and the Oracle games? Or is it in one of the timelines?
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!You can grab airborne enemies, if they are close enough to the ground...besides Ghastly for obvious reasons.
It's the easiest way to kill the Find Mii ghost, without using items.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.

If the update gets to the Wii U, I'm not going to update it until I get my capture card.
