"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Team Battles with my amiibos are like four-player Rival Smashes. We're always more than a match for the other team of level 9's so we end up competing for who gets more KO's in the end.
I could fight against my other amiibos, but I think of Toy Story again and worry that they'll feel abused if I'm always fighting against them.
...gaaah, rare amiibos are over $50 on Amazon now.

You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayYes...I finally got that dumb Metroid in Smash Tour and I never have to play another Smash Tour again.
And that was the last CD I needed so I finally have all the songs too. That's two challenges in one shot (8 left).
The last big things are the no-life-lost 9.0 Classic, Lucina's 8 KO on Cruel Smash nightmare, Mario's 20 Crazy Orders and 450,000 points on Target Smash's stage 3.
I'm so close to completion I can taste it. ;p

You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay...okay, her name is Luckina.
Guess I just wasn't being clever enough about it. You have to wait a split second before they stop in front of you to counter, and get as many of them in front of you as you can.
Geez, after weeks of trying that stupid challenge, I get it by cheesing. I'm so opposed to cheesing, but there really is no other sensible way to do a Cruel Smash.
Now I don't have to do any more Cruel Smashes either.
There's another two down (6 left). Thanks for talking me into it.
The deathless 9.0 Classic challenge is going to be my favorite to try, I think I'll save it for last. It'll be a true testament to whether I can truly smash single-player.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayI only just managed to get 8.0 Classic myself. Customed it on up.
See, the problem with Master Fortress is the on-the-walls danger zones. It would be plenty dangerous enough just with the pits, but having it on the walls just makes for too much hassle, especially since a lot of my characters are large and cumbersome (i got through it with Kirby)
Random thought, but I wonder how many people that only played the Wii U version even realize that all of Master Fortress's Swarm Shadows are duplicates of actual Nintendo enemies and have their behaviors lifted from the 3DS version's Smash Run. I mean, I like that the Swarm Shadows at least look different than the enemies they're based on (reminds me of the Fighting Polygon Team), but for some reason I feel that the Wii U version would never mention the link, even as a Tip.
Other than the Stalfos and Plasma Wisps, I wouldn't have recognized the others if I had played the Wii U version first, and would have assumed that they were unique enemies.
On a different note, I found this image amusing.

Duck Hunt in B...well, that stinks.
Also, it's a shame that heavyweights always seem to attract the lower tiers. They made Bowser fast, and apparently that didn't accomplish as much as I thought it would.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.

Oh wow that ending.
