I'll be honest, I really don't like Hunger Games. Or the dystopian future genre in general. You'd think someone would look at the textbooks and say "Hey guys, this kind of thing was tried before, and it really didn't work out well for the guys that created them. Ooh, democracy, let's try that!" I dunno, maybe it's because I had to read 3 different ones for 3 different years of school, maybe it's because I grew up with the space opera and expect the future to be all aliens and lasers, but they just don't click with me.
But I digress, them Smash Bros tho.
You know what? You should be able to use money to buy customization items. I don't care if they're ten grand a pop, it would be better than the current system.
Also, I've been getting good with Robin, but I honestly can't tell if it's just because I've been cheesing with projectiles and Anti AI Moves. My internet is too bad to try For Glory.

Yes it is. And Greninja is particularly good at it too.
The best kills are when people get killed offstage by a mid-air Shadow Sneak. Or when someone is trying to gimp you and Shadow Sneak allows you to not only go past them, but also kill them for their efforts. So satisfying.

Custom items are all random drops. You gotta be willing to play for hours to get what you want.
Good/bad thing though: custom parts will tend to come to whichever fighter you're using, so you're more likely to get everything for your favorites just by playing with them.
The bad part is that you also have to do that for the fighters you DON'T like if you're trying to go for completion.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayOkay, so I was playing with the same friends as yesterday...and oh my fucking god one of them was using Link on both Animal Crossing Stages, and only used his Up-B to attack aerial opponents... When I said "you can't use Link if all you're gonna do is spam his Spin Attack", I was compared to this one asshole who would ban Sonic because of Final Smashes ([[Main/Hypocrite and yesterday, they told me that I can't use Mii Fighter because I'm good as Mii Brawler]]). Thanks god the next stages after that one were ones he couldn't his the spin attack to prevent opponents
Nintendo may have solved the spamming issue online, but it also needs to be solved for the local matches too. And players need to actually learn how to use the A attacks...not just the standard, dash, and Smash attacks too...
I cannot "win" (not like, win a match, but in telling others what not to do) whenever I play SSB with people locally. It's either "I want Items!" or spamming. Try to actually get some skill, people.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!Against players who spam the same attacks over and over, you have to learn to adapt.
Once I played with this guy who used Peach by jumping, spinning, floating forward, then using her forward air, making it hard to get close. But when I realized that he would do it all the time, I was able to adapt and beat him. I think it was by dodging behind him before he got too low...
When playing with friends though, it's important to make sure that most of them are having fun and allowing some compromise. Maybe "I'll play it your way if you let me play it my way the next time". Or, auto-handicaps.
I can adapt easily to spammers of the Falcon Punch (using a fast enough character will make quick work of that), I find it hard to adapt against spammers of the spin attack.
I swear, I like fighting CP Us the best...at least they can't ask you constantly for items or needlessly spam attacks.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!...Truly not seeing the problem you're having with this.
If the guy's screwing around with the move holding the single highest recovery in Link's arsenal (especially in midair), then it should be no issue in the slightest to smack him around while vulnerable and clue him in that it's not working.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guy
The problem was that, when we were both down to our last life on Smashville (I didn't know what he was doing on Town and City), he had much more percent damage than me. He kept knocking me off, and kept using that attack to keep me from recovering when I was at lower health than him. Plus, I was Captain Falcon, so I didn't have a good move to keep him at bay (I can't aim the Falcon Dive for crap to use it as an offense)

Yeah, I did that to counter my earlier issue with people demanding items. Believe me, spamming is much worse.
Well every spammable attack has some kind of defense...for up specials it helps to catch them when they fall down.
When they up special to a ledge, it helps to stand back a little and either let them climb up, attack up, or roll into your range, or just jump and try to catch them coming back down.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayIs it just me, or do Level 9 CP Us tend to overly rely on grabbing the ledges whenever they recover? I usually find myself side-smashing or down-smashing them near the edge of a stage while they're at about 100% damage because of their predictability. At times when they would try to sneak up behind me, I would change direction and side-smash. Why can't they jump up or attack after climbing from a ledge more often?
My For Glory percentage is about 48%. Not much better, if you ask me.

Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.

Did someone say bread?
