If you guys want something better from me than just spamming shurikens against stupid Miis, here's the Little Mac fight that gif I posted earlier came from.

In the literal sense, sort of.
So Master Hand and Crazy Hand are Masahiro Sakurai.
So, Ridley is the smallest boss in the game that made him iconic...
◊ Hooray internet, you ruined a potential character by exaggerating a trait to the point it was ingrained in the collective consciousness.
Oh, and before the "but relative size, it has to be shrunk and a smaller Ridley wouldn't work" argument turns its head, Twilight Princess Ganondorf wants its height back
◊.
Seriously, Internet, you are dumb most of the time, and like to ruin things for others.
The meme started because of a comment by Sakurai, mate.
Bowser's size is all over the place in his own series; and you can shrink Ganondorf and he'd still look right in comparison with every other character, his own series' or otherwise.
Meanwhile, non-NES sprite mess Ridley is so large in comparison to Samus that try to shrink him down, while also keeping him in a size that makes both proportions reasonable and helps with balance issues that comes with a size and movement like his, and you're in for quite a good load of awkwardness.
Don't get me wrong, I'd still like him as a playable character, but let's not go around misblaming stuff or saying that there ain't no issue.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."It's not the fact that he's the smallest boss that's important. It's the fact that he's pretty much TWICE as tall as Samus with her power suit, and he's crouching to achieve that.
While that Ganondorf is indeed head and shoulders above Link and Zelda, he's still relatively human-sized, and the shrunken height he's suffered isn't too significant.
...Although now I'd like to play as crouched-Ridley, and see his attacks have him shoot his limbs out, like a projectile, but still a Melee attack.
Oh, and I subscribed to Full Moon. :3

Oh, I misread that. Sorry.
... realistically speaking, that's not going to happen. I have no doubts about his potential, but to become famous for your skills in the community at large, you need to be really, really good and successful, and you'll only reach that level of skill and fame by being where the action's at, constantly training with and learning from the best and demonstrating your power at important events.
There's some other ways, like being the charismatic Gimpyfish who can place decently in tournaments with a terrible character or the silly Borp who's known for occasionally surprising high-tier players despite having no tech skill to speak of, but all of that still requires you to get known at events.
... This post got a little more elaborate than it needed to be and now I feel sorry for Full Moon.
There's still the option of becoming a famous badass in the context of a smaller community like ours, or, more ambitiously, that ranking site!
I've found that my specialization in what characters I use put me in some form of opposition to Moon. While he uses combo reliant characters, I use characters that usually hit with single, powerful attacks.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardBirds tend to have their femurs in a horizontal position while standing. And it is not like Ridley would be long legged anyway, his posture would be reminiscent of that of a short-legged bird, a pterosaur or an ape while resting. Take a look at how the Kongs are larger than they look. Or at how much more massive than Samus Bowser looks in Smash 4. Heck, or at Other M Ridley's legs.
Ganondorf is not head and shoulders above Link and Zelda; Link only comes up to his hips. That is outright massive, but the size is not the focus of the gameplay; when you fight Ganondorf in TP him being 10 feet tall doesn't play a massive role.
Ridley is the same, I would say. His size is not as apparent as that of other bosses (both in Super Metroid and in the Prime games), specially because of his speed and smaller weakpoints (in Prime); I usually misjudged some shots because he felt more like a slighty larger pirate than what he really was due to said speed (then again, in Prime the bosses are larger that they appear due to being first person).
As for a believable size that keeps the proportions in mind, well, how about this?
◊ Ridley is easy enough once the pterosaurian head to body rate goes (as was the case in Prime and Other M); the hands are large and bony so torso grabbing is feasible, and Xenomorph-esque uncurling and curling is also viable.
Oh well, on an unrelated tangent, this would be neat...

For the sprites, the heads and wings on Ridley in comparison to Samus look really bad, and the tail is really, really large.
As for the picture, the wings would be a problem. The head looks alright, but that tail looks really thin.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!If he can do that, I'm pretty sure he can make a name for himself among the community.
Nice message there, pal. Really well-thought.
Of course, he could also be serious and is actually not planning on reselling the amiibo at all because reasons, but ultimately the results are the same.
Although I plan to start collecting the amiibo I want with Rosalina, I'm not all that bothered by this guy.

Yeah, gotta agree on Super Metroid!Ridley's wings and tail being quite awkward, and the head, well, I adjusted its size to the more recent one, because otherwise it is as large as the torso, hence why it looks really bad. Still, the thin and flexible Other M tail is quite decent in my book, and made for a quite useful weapon (quick tail strikes are a Ridley trademark).

But not open them.
