The true form of that question is...
Highest difficulty of a Multi-form Boss vs. Highest difficulty of a Final Boss with Insta-K.O. attacks.
Who's harder? You tell me.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I never got to Intense Tabuu, so I wouldn't know. Smash 3DS is the first time I've beaten anything on Smash at the highest difficulty, don't know if that's because you get 2 lives per stage, if the AI/bosses/etc are easier than Brawl, or if I just got better by actually deciding to practice when I got the demo.
Definitely Master Core. I've never reached either boss on the highest difficulty (at least not Core + Fortress in the Wii U version), but at least with Tabuu you're given multiple lives, and his Off Waves attack is periodical and simple to avoid. With Master Core, you're only given two lives, and Master Edges' quick, unpredictable single slashes might as well be Master Core's version of Off Waves, final form notwithstanding.

Yeah, the AI in the 3DS version isn't quite as strong as it is in the Wii U version, is it?

Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Clearing Classic on 9.0 without losing a single stock in Smash Wii U sounds like a nightmare even before factoring in how much of a Marathon Boss is at the end. Master & Crazy, plus Master Giant, Beast, Edges and Shadow was already a slog, and now there's a Danger Zone-encrusted labyrinth at the end!
I sure said that!Gotta boost that replay value
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyAt least it's like one of the last challenges to do in the top left corner.
You can't hammer it open, so that Double Final Smasher Protection Badge you get from beating it will be a testament to your ability as a Smasher. ;p
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayRE: items
My friends usually turn them off. My brothers and I have them on sometimes, but we'll usually put them on low frequency and remove all the cheap ones (golden hammer, gust bellows, boss galaga, etc.) Personally, I like items, but I don't mind having them off.

Other than the ones that have a high chance of causing KOs (like the Beetle, the Gust Bellows, and Boss Galaga), I'm fine with most items. And even if those are on, I'll just deal with the extra challenge.
Most of the items I leave on, though, are various explosives, Cuccos, Boss Galaga, Smash Balls, and all assist items (Poke/Master Balls and Assist Trophies). Maybe Metal Boxes too.
Man, I cannot get the handle on Lucina and Marth. I feel like there's nothing much to them. They probably get better as you improve, but so far I find both Ike with his hard-hitting attacks and long reach and Robin with his projectiles and powerful smashes to be way better and more fun.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.That's the exact opposite of how I felt about 0²'s theme in Brawl. Not sure why we needed vocals in that.
Souleye - PPPPPP - Potential for Anything 3DS FC: 2621-3105-8671Yeah, I know. Arcfire into Up Air Smash gets lots and lots of K Os.

Sounds like a Kingdom Hearts song.

Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I'm slowly breaking down those All-Stars on Hard...I think I'll actually finish that challenge without a hammer.
Don't know when, though.
I'm using my favorite fighters first before I move onto the lamer ones. That's when it gets really hard.
Smash moves are a necessity.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayRegarding Master Core vs. Tabuu, I'd say that Intense Tabuu (In SSE, not in Boss Battles. He's harder there) is harder than 9.0 Master Core. Almost all of Tabuu's attacks become OHKO's at that level, whereas you can survive quite a few hits from Master Core even on 9.0.
Honestly, Master Edges is the only thing standing between me and clearing 9.0 with one life. I just can't quite get its attacks down. Master Giant has one or two really annoying attacks with luck elements but is otherwise easy, Master Beast attacks real fast but as long as you don't have horrendous ending lag you can attack it with impunity, Master Shadow's a joke, and Master Fortress is a bit daunting at first but once you've gone through it a few times it's completely predictable.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'm disappointed that there is no remix of Rawk Hawk's theme from TTYD, Boss theme from DKC 2, Solaris: Phase 2 in place of the version of His World already in the game, Rainbow Road 64, or any remix of a track from Star Fox Advenutres in Wii U
I'm also disappointed that "Battle For Storm Hill" from Jungle Beat didn't return from Brawl.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!
